Yesterday the White House suspended the press credentials for CNN’s Jim Acosta and accused him of “placing his hands” on female staffer.

President Donald Trump’s ongoing feud with Jim Acosta, CNN’s chief White House correspondent, boiled over on Wednesday, with Trump verbally berating the journalist before the White House ultimately suspended his press access.

Acosta tweeted Wednesday night that he was denied access when he tried to enter the White House. He added in another tweet that he didn’t “blame” the U.S. Secret Service agent who stopped him.

“I know he’s just doing his job,” Acosta wrote.

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders later issued a statement that said the reporter’s “hard pass” was suspended as a result of his attempt to keep control of a microphone during Wednesday’s news conference with the president.

She said Acosta put “his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern” during the session, a claim that doesn’t appear to be supported by video of the incident.

The press secretary called Acosta’s behavior “absolutely unacceptable.”

First off, even this tweet is full of lies.

Secondly, go ahead and watch that video up above a few times and you can see who accosted whom.

Twitter quite literally seemed to explode in response to Acosta losing his press credentials, and there were a number of tweets that contained video of the female staffer and Acosta wrestling over the microphone.

I think this one was the best.

Yeah, it is pretty clear that Acosta did nothing wrong here.

Trump just wants him gone for daring to ask the hard questions that he does not want to answer, and he is trying to hijack the #MeToo movement to give him a credible reason for doing it.

Sanders accused Acosta of “placing his hands on a young woman” during the incident, and then shared a video circulated by InfoWars editor Paul Joseph Watson that is briefly slowed down at one point to make Acosta’s actions look more aggressive.

“On Wednesday, Acosta told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that Trump is trying to shut down the press. “It’s a test for all of us. They are trying to shut us down,”
“If there was anybody behaving inappropriately on Tuesday, it was the huffing and puffing man standing behind the podium with the presidential seal plastered on it.” “At the end of the day, today’s incident showed that it’s Donald Trump – not a hardworking journalist – who should be denied entry into the White House.”

She is the one that assaulted him by grabbing the mic, under the law that is considered assault.

Huck a Liar is adding fuel to the fire by putting out a doctored video to make it look like Acosta touched her.. these people have no morals or ethics at all. Too bad for her that the REAL video is out there.

trump continues to show what a crass person he is, you really have to feel sorry for the SOB, he has no manners. His base thinks this is being strong but he is just a pathetic bully.

FB>”News the White House pulled CNN’s Jim Acosta’s credentials is not an attack on one journalist but all of the press. There should be complete solidarity. This is a moment for any Republican who says they believe in the Constitution to stand up.Trump treats showdowns with the press as theater of the absurd. Don’t let the act fool you. This is about questions he will not answer or answer honestly. That’s what the press must do. Hold the powerful accountable. It’s as much a part of America as the presidency itself.”< Dan the Man Rather

    On related note:

Research that the OSS/CIA declassified some years ago, available at the National Archives: A Psychological Analysis of Adolph Hitler: His Life and Legend, by Walter C. Langer. From this:

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

More from his deputy, Hermann Goering:

“…the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”

The country has lots of problems that need to be addressed; the world has even more problems that need to be addressed; last night another dozen or so people were murdered in cold blood at a bar. And what is Don the Con’s White House busy doing? Putting up blatantly fake video of an American reporter whom the president personally dislikes while the members of Trump’s administration deliberately fail to do their jobs. This is wrong. It’s what dictators do. It is not what elected leaders do.

I wish someone would be brave enough to sit Don the Con down and explain to him that the American people have had enough of his lies and fakery. We need good governance. And it has to start from the top. Show him how well President Obama handled the 2010 losses. He was clearly not happy about the election outcome but he did not attack the media and he did not attack members of his party who had lost at the polls. Explain that President Obama and, for that matter, George Bush before him, continued to do their jobs and coped with the changed situation in Congress. Neither of them had temper tantrums in front of the press, the nation and the world. I realize that whoever is brave enough to have the so-needed conversation with Don the Con will be immediately sacked but he will be cheered by the American people. Would that brave individual still want to have anything to do with the Trump White House anyway?

The world has too many people, period. We’ve reached the stage of the “rat experiment” where there are just too many of us yet many, mostly those can least afford it, keep breeding out of control. The earth itself will fix this, and sooner than we think.

its like when we were kids and you were in a fight with your siblongs and you cried that you got hurt even tho you didnt. these people are at childs play. especially huckabee sanders

Jim Acosta is a far more patient gentleman than I.

I would not have placed my hands on her. I would have placed the microphone up her ass.

FB>”The White House revoked press credentials for CNN’s Jim Acosta.
The White House first claimed Acosta was badgering Trump (and how you badger the President is beyond me).
When that didn’t fly, the White House released a doctored video — a clumsily and obviously doctored video — claiming Acosta assaulted a White House intern.
    Acosta did NOT assault anyone.
He simply did his job and attempted to hold Government accountable. His only crime was trying to make Trump answer a question.
Trump repeatedly declares the Press as the enemy of the People.
He repeatedly attacks CNN and Acosta in particular.
His rhetoric has directly resulted in violence against the Press.
Listen to me: The Press is the ONLY private enterprise given enumerated rights in the Constitution.
The Press is the ONLY private enterprise given enumerated rights by the Constitution without caveat or restriction.
And the Press was given this right SPECIFICALLY because journalists are SUPPOSED to aggressively question our government.
Acosta seems to be one few journalists who understand this.
The Press is not the enemy of the People.
The Press is the watchdog of Liberty and the rightful adversary of tyrants.
Thus, if you declare the Press as your enemy, you by default must be the tyrant.”

My husband and I watched this and he’s like “wow, who’s that thin-lipped little trailer-park looking girl interning in the whitehouse”? ‘Nuff said, she’s some white trash girl who got a job in Trump’s whitehouse and she’s used to acting like a cretin with no manners. Probably the daughter of some trashy folks he met in middle america during one of his rallies and he put her in a position that her genetics and breeding never imagined she’d be in.

    That’s trump’s whitehouse, a shitshow of low-breeding.
