Yesterday North Korea fired two more short range missiles in defiance of deal it supposedly made with Trump.

Don’t you just hate it when your brutal dictator buddies embarrass you like this?

Courtesy of NYT:

North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles on Thursday, the South Korean military said, an escalation from the North’s most recent weapons test just five days ago.

The two missiles were launched eastward from the country’s northwest, with one flying 260 miles and the other about 170 miles, the military said in a statement. It said officials from the South and the United States were jointly analyzing flight data to determine what type of missiles they were.

“Our military has stepped up our surveillance and monitoring in preparation for possible additional launches by North Korea,” the statement said. “We remain fully prepared in close coordination with the United States.” The statement did not say where the missiles had landed, but the reported distances would put them in the sea between North Korea and Japan.

The launch came five days after North Korea fired several short-range projectiles off its east coast. They flew 43 to 125 miles before landing in the sea, the South Korean military said then in a statement.

Trump was asked about this yesterday and he seemed relatively unconcerned.

President Donald Trump on Thursday said he wasn’t pleased to hear reports that North Korea had launched two short-range missiles overnight.

“They were smaller missiles, short-range missiles,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “Nobody’s happy about it, but we’re taking a good look, and we’ll see.”

“The relationship continues, but we’ll see what happens,” Trump added. “They want to negotiate, they’re talking about negotiating, but I don’t think they’re ready to negotiate.”

No, they are not ready to negotiate.

What they are ready to do is rub Trump’s nose in the fact that he did not get shit from the North Koreans, while they got a one on one meeting with the most powerful politician in the world and a great photo op for their dear leader.

“I am a Tariff Man.” he is ‘Little Rocket Man’

“The tariffs are being paid by the companies – American companies – that import those products. Those companies then, more than likely, pass those costs on to the consumer – Americans – who cover the increased costs.

Trump is intentionally blind to this very basic fact of economics.

Trump is also intentionally blind to how manufacturing works.

“Build your products in the United States and there are NO TARIFFS!”

‘”tariffs are NOW being paid to the United States by China 25% on 250 Billion Dollars”

Wrong. These tariffs are being paid by *US citizens* not China – that’s just the way tariffs work… 🤫 #economics101

“In less than 24 hours, Trump has claimed that Lincoln lost the Civil War and that he is America’s all-time favorite president.

As his legal troubles worsen, and the threat of being a one-term president looms, Trump has retreated deeper into a world of fantasy and delusion.”

“We’ve made a decisive break from the failed foreign policy establishment that sacrificed our sovereignty, surrendered our jobs and tied us down to endless foreign wars,” he told supporters at a rally in Florida. “In everything we do, we are now putting America first.”

His base cannot find mention of the tariffs in the bible. Therefore, through their lens of literalism, they are unable to see the cost is passed onto their wallets.
