Tulsi Gabbard wants to be President. Does anybody care?

I certainly don’t.

Courtesy of Politico:

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said Friday that she is running for president.

“I have decided to run and will be making a formal announcement within the next week,” she said during an interview on CNN’s “The Van Jones Show.”

Gabbard, a 37-year old combat veteran, has done little to hide her presidential ambitions. She recently made stops in both Iowa and New Hampshire and looked into hiring digital staff and speechwriters. She has also authored a memoir set to be released in May.

Late Friday, in a fundraising email, Gabbard said the reason she was running “has to do with an issue that is central to the rest — war and peace.”

She also cited healthcare, immigration reform, clean water, and air, criminal justice and special interest influence in Washington.

Yeah, I still don’t care.

Like a lot of folks, I was intrigued by Gabbard when she first arrived on the scene and thought she might bring something new to the political debate.

But what she brought was a pro-Bashir Assad stance, an anti-LGBTQ past, and penchant for being a disruptor.

She is by no means the candidate that the Democrats need in 2020, or ever for that matter.

As somebody said, “She is the Jill Stein of 2020.”

I agree.

P.S. Some enterprising soul compiled a hundred reasons that progressives should NOT support Gabbard. (Link)

It’s a pretty good read.

She sounds like extremely bad news. Is she being offered to us by Don the Con’s boss, Vladdie Putin?

  2. Anonymous January 13, 2019 at 9:20 am

Ol Tulsi’s comments about the LGBTQ community just ended her campaign. The internet is FOREVER!

  3. Anonymous January 13, 2019 at 9:34 am

Migght look into her past further to see if she had any roundtable dinners with putin.

“The Jill Stein of 2020.” We ignore/forget those words at our peril.

She also cashes Russian checks. One of her consulting firms works with Russians. Nope a thousands times NOPE!

  6. A January 13, 2019 at 10:34 am

You should care…because she’s likely a Russian plant designed to try to help Trump win re-election.

Maybe that’s why Palin is “going back into journalism.” She loves her some Russia, why not hop on the bandwagon?

So the problem with the gay-hating Russophiles presently in power is that they’re white, male and Republican?

“Former secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro officially announced his presidential bid in San Antonio on Saturday, beginning a campaign that will look to turn his uniquely American immigrant story into a direct repudiation of President Donald Trump.

“When my grandmother got here almost a hundred years ago, I’m sure she never could have imagined that just two generations later, one of her grandsons would be serving as a member of the United States Congress and the other would be standing with you here today to say these words: I am a candidate for President of the United States of America,”

Now that Donny John has lowered the bar as far as it can go, I’m sure we’re going to see all kinds of greedy, traitorous ass wipes coming out of the woodwork. It’ll be a long time before this cancer is erased; if ever.

Don’t know nothing about Gabbard but I have to say that ppswar on Twitter that you linked to is entirely sketchy. He/she links back and forth between the same few people with not much evidence other than they said so. Probably the same person admins them all. An old Republican trick. A lot of the links to anything of slight reputation are broken. Video leads to still picture. Even found one to the onion. Broken of course. All I’m saying is Republicans aren’t the only ones being spoon fed crap and liking it.

Palin could write speeches for her. Bristol could sell her a house. Willow could do her hair. Track could……ah screw that violent savage.
And they all lived happily ever after.

(She won’t win shit, bless her Fart for trying though.)
