For clarification remember that these were statements that Carlson made on a publicly available talk radio show.

Tucker Carlson portrayed himself as the victim of a “mob” on Monday night. And he said Fox News has his back.

“We will never bow to the mob. Ever. No matter what,” he said.

At the exact same time, on MSNBC, the progressive group Media Matters for America shared even more examples of offensive remarks made by Carlson on a shock jock radio show.

The “Bubba the Love Sponge Show” audio clips are from 2006 to 2011. Media Matters is circulating them now as part of a pressure campaign against Fox’s advertisers.

Without naming the anti-Fox group, Carlson said on Monday night that “they’ve been working hard to kill this show” ever since it premiered in 2016.

When Carlson handed off to Sean Hannity, the two men complained about the scrutiny.

“There is a mob that wants to destroy only Fox,” Hannity said.

“We’re going to fight it,” Carlson said.

Media Matters said, in effect, that the group is just highlighting the Fox hosts’ own words and letting others decide.

Media Matters is in the right on this, and let’s face it if Carlson ever got his hands on any juicy audio or video of AOC saying things that are potentially damaging he would not hesitate to release it.

And this last batch of talk show audio is pretty juicy.

When asked on “Bubba the Love Sponge” in 2008 how he pays his bills, Carlson replied that he’s “extraordinarily loaded” just from “inheritance from my number of trust funds.”

“I’ll go out and beat some servants, I’ll wrap my Lamborghini around a tree, go pick up a kilo or two, you know, just like normal stuff,” he added.

“You’re a trust fund baby, are you not?” the host asked. “Oh completely, I’ve never needed to work, yeah,” Carlson said. “I mean it’s all just — the whole cable news thing … it was just like a phase I was going through.”

In another instance, the conversation on the show centered on Fox chair Rupert Murdoch’s decision to pull ultraconservative host Sean Hannity from broadcasting at a Cincinnati tea party rally in 2010. “I’m 100 percent [Murdoch’s] bitch,” Carlson said. “Whatever Mr. Murdoch says, I do. … I would be honored if he would cane me the way I cane my workers, my servants.”

And then there was this.

Newly released recordings of Tucker Carlson — the third set made public in as many days — feature the prominent Fox News host joking about having sex with a teenage beauty pageant contestant. In the tapes, Carlson also makes a series of sexist, misogynist and cruel remarks about the young woman, who was a contestant in a 2007 Miss Teen USA competition.

“She’s so dumb,” Carlson said on the recording, an old interview on the “Bubba the Love Sponge Show,” uncovered by the nonprofit watchdog Media Matters for America and first published by NowThis News. “She’s like, she’s vulnerable. She’s like a wounded gazelle, separated from the herd.”

Carlson then speculated without evidence that the pageant’s host, actor Mario Lopez, had sex with the woman, who Carlson believed was underage at the time.

“Well she was 17,” the radio show’s host said. “Couldn’t that be a problem legally if Mario f–ed it?”

“No. No are you kidding. He’s like James Brown,” Carlson responded, referring to the musician who was arrested on domestic violence charges. “The normal laws for that kind of thing don’t apply to him. He gets a pass.”

“Tucker is dark,” the host, Bubba, responded.

At one point in the recording, Carlson says the teen would “probably be a pretty good wife,” adding, “Don’t you think — I mean if you had a wife that dumb, would it be good or bad?”

The answer from the show’s co-hosts was a resounding “good.”

Carlson later says, “I was thinking about tapping my foot next to her stall” — an apparent reference to a public code for sex.

Yeah, you know? I think I might go out and join this “mob” that is going after Tucker Carlson. Because this guy is a fucking pig!
