Trump claims that Robert Mueller had to issue letter to correct public statement. No such letter exists.

Another helping of gaslighting anyone?

During a trip to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, President Donald Trump carved out time to sit down for an interview with one of his biggest champions — Fox News’ Laura Ingraham.

Fox News released a snippet of the interview — the full version will run on Ingraham’s show Thursday night — in which Trump talks about the public statement given by former special counsel Robert Mueller last week. Here’s what Trump said:
“Let me tell you, he made such a fool out of himself … because what people don’t report is the letter he had to do to straighten out his testimony because his testimony was wrong.”

1) There was no Mueller “testimony.’

2) Mueller has never said anything publicly to suggest his report was “wrong.”

3) The letter Mueller has sent was to Barr taking issue with the how the AG’s summary statement — and subsequent media coverage — described his findings. And to be clear, that letter didn’t exonerate Trump in any way; Mueller was concerned Barr had glossed over the nuance of the potentially obstructive actions.

4) Mueller’s public statement last month also was not the sort of thing that Trump should cite as beneficial to his own interests. Quite the opposite. Mueller emphasized — as he had done in the report that “if we had had confidence that the President had clearly not committed a crime, we would have said so.” He also noted that the special counsel’s office never even considered charging Trump on obstruction due to guidance from the Office of Legal Counsel (within the Justice Department) that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

It is tedious and it is time-consuming, but it is our civic duty to point out Trump’s lies every time he tells them.

If we don’t then these things are accepted as fact and the epidemic of stupidity just spreads that much further.

I have come to the conclusion that trump’s beer belly grows every time he lies, which is everytime he opens his butt hole mouth.

No wonder they didn’t want Mueller to interview him,he is incapable of telling the truth about anything.

Yes, and he left those 90 some year old veterans waiting for 15 mins while he was busy bashing Americans and lying to Americans on Fox because it is always about cadet bone spurs.

I also find it hilarious that the Queen gave him a book as a gift, guess they didn’t give her the memo, he doesn’t read. Guess that is one gift that he won’t steal when he is thrown out of office.

Donald Trump makes excuses for his privileged draft dodging. “Nobody cares,” says the Purple Heart recipient.

……These comments only make one thing clear: @realDonaldTrump got his deferments for the wrong thing. They shouldn’t have been for his disappearing, imaginary bone spurs—they should have been for that yellow streak down his back. At least that would have been a real condition. 4/4

“June 14, The Washington Post reveals that the president is under investigation for obstruction of justice. According to Mueller, three days later, President Trump tells White House counsel Don McGahn to call acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to say Mueller has conflicts and can’t serve anymore. The president says Mueller has to go. McGahn doesn’t comply.
    Mueller writes:

“McGahn packed up his office, prepared to submit a resume letter and told Chief of Staff Reince Priebus the president had asked him to do crazy (EXPLETIVE DELETED).”

“Substantial evidence indicates that the president’s effort to limit the special counsel’s investigation was intended to prevent further scrutiny of the president’s and his campaign’s conduct.”

He said he can murder in broad daylight and all is okay. You’re up against 2000 years of salvation for his base.
