Man the rats just cannot get off the sinking SS Trump fast enough can they?

Courtesy of The Hill:

Former GOP mega-donor Seth Klarman urged voters to support Democrats in the coming midterm elections and said in a recent interview that he believes “democracy is at stake.”

“One of the reasons I’m willing to come out of my shell and talk to you is because I think democracy is at stake,” Klarman said in an interview with The New York Times published on Saturday. “And maybe I’ll be able to convince some other people of that. And get them to support Democrats in 2018.”

Klarman, who was previously one of the biggest donors to the Republican Party in New England, told The Times he has donated $4.9 million to nearly 150 candidates.

Some of the Democratic candidates who have received Klarman’s cash in this election cycle alone are Massachusetts Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D), Texas Senate candidate Rep. Beto O’Rourke and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), a potential presidential candidate. But, as Klarman puts it: “I’m not a Democrat.”

“We need to turn the House and Senate as a check on Donald Trump and his runaway presidency,” Klarman, who donated more than $2.9 million to Republicans in the 2016 election cycle, said.

Klarman now refers to the Republicans in Washington as “spineless” with “profiles in cowardice” and claims that by the end of the election cycle he might have donated as much as 20 million to Democratic candidates which would likely make him the biggest donor to the party.

You know the greatest Democratic fundraiser might turn out not to be either Barack Obama or Joe Biden, but Donald Trump instead.

The Hunt for the Trump Tapes,
which investigates, among other issues, whether Burnett has suppressed Apprentice-era outtakes of Trump using the N-word, according to the show’s website.

The show premieres today on Viceland.

Mark Burnett just went apeshit & choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn Pink shirt & missing gold chain. I’m waiting for LAPD
    8:24 PM – Sep 16, 2018

Roma<Bullshit. You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I’m filing police report & suing you for defamation.

    Tom Arnold

“Arnold’s lawyer also called the scuffle an “unprovoked attack” by Burnett and cited Kevin Bacon and Sosie Bacon as witnesses.”

    • Lucifer September 17, 2018 at 3:37 pm

“Arnold told me Burnett’s people conveyed “The Apprentice” creator’s displeasure to Vice Media CEO Nancy Dubuc, formerly the president of A&E Networks. (Viceland is a joint venture between A&E Networks and Vice Media.)

“This guy,” he said with an exasperated laugh. “I’m grateful I have a female CEO. I will have a CEO when this fucking guy resigns from office too, in this fucking Hollywood culture. But she’s a bad ass. She created ‘Intervention’ on A&E.”
” To know that when pussies like Mark Burnett call her and say, ‘Hey, do you know Tom Arnold? Because he’s badmouthing Donald Trump.’ She’s probably like, ‘Fuck you! Okay, I’ll tell somebody to call him.’ She doesn’t call me herself.

“Anyway,” he concludes while taking a breath, “I apologize for talking so much.””Part unscripted reality series, part mock-investigative report (only with real evidence), the show itself is a haphazard odyssey through one man’s devotion to exposing Trump as a dangerous fraud. And not just any guy, but a Hollywood insider who has rubbed elbows with Trump and countless rich white guys like him over the course of his career, Burnett included.

“He’s good at the country club, to pose for pictures and all that, but you know, he’s terrible at this,” Arnold said, “this” being leadership of the free world. “Now, it’s this crisis, it’s impending doom.”
“You have to know this about these Trump people. There’s three things,” he said. “There’s death threats, you’ll get a million. There’s threats of lawsuits. You will get sued immediately, or threats. . . You just ignore them, the death threats, lawsuits. And they try to ruin your credibility which, I had zero to begin with. I will have zero when this is over. You have to not care about those three things. Just keep going and then, you’ll be fine. And that’s what I’ve done since October of 2016.”
“I don’t want to be on TV as a talking head. I just want to take him down,” Arnold said. “I want him to retire because he’s a menace. I have never been on his team. I’ve never been his confidante. He is a horrible person. He is a horrible president. Everybody around him is complicit.”
““The great thing about ‘The Apprentice,’ is that it’s a game show,” he added. “So they had to record every conversation that Donald Trump had with producers legally. The FCC requires it because of a game show scandal in the ’50s. They can’t get rid of it. So, there’s a salt mine in Hutchinson, Kansas — MGM has all their film and television product there. As well as Mark Burnett’s studio vault in Santa Monica. It’s also on a hard drive on Rodeo Drive, as well as what my friends have, who have worked on the show.” Mark Burnett’s the originator. He’s the creator of this guy. He created the whole thing. Fifteen years on ‘The Apprentice,’ he created this and he can take it home. He can wrap it up. He’s literally put this whole fake charade together. He can do the final episode. He knows how this ends. He can go in there and say, ‘Okay, we’re going to this. We can do this the right way.’ Like when he came in to do the inauguration, just discreetly, without using his name. You know, Mark Burnett’s already traveling with Mike Pence.”

Those tapes are gone. You better beileve Burnett destroyed them within 24 hours of this altercation. They’ll never be found.

TREASURY BOND$? “Trump found himself deeply in debt during the crisis.”

    • 8 September 17, 2018 at 8:14 am

“we mark the 10th anniversary of the collapse of Lehman Brothers”

“Trump has already started a trade war with China and wouldn’t dare attack nuclear-armed North Korea, his last best target would be IRAN. By provoking a military confrontation with that country, he would trigger a stagflationary geopolitical shock not unlike the oil-price spikes of 1973, 1979 and 1990. Needless to say, that would make the oncoming global recession even more severe.”

‘Soraya Chemaly, Director of the Women’s Media Center Speech Project, talks about her new book “Rage Becomes Her” and political equality.’
Sarah Palin @ the 4:14 mark & Lisa Murkowski @ the 13:30 mark

    “Rage is a Virtue”
    “Gendering of our emotions”
    “Policing women”

“We’ve been told for so long to bottle up our anger, letting it corrode our bodies and minds in ways we don’t even realize. Yet our anger is a vital instrument, our radar for injustice and a catalyst for change. On the flip side, the societal and cultural belittlement of our anger is a cunning way of limiting and controlling our power.”

    Rage Becomes Her
makes the case that anger is not what gets in our way, it is our way, sparking a new understanding of one of our core emotions that will give women a liberating sense of why their anger matters and connect them to an entire universe of women no longer interested in making nice at all costs.”

    1. In order to know what the mark of the beast is, we must first identify the beast. How does the Bible describe it?

    A. It rises from the sea (verse 1).

    B. It is the composite of the four beasts in Daniel chapter 7 (verse 2).

    C. The dragon gives it power and authority (verse 2).

    D. It receives a deadly wound (verse 3).

    E. Its deadly wound is healed (verse 3).

    F. It is a strong political power (verses 3, 7).

    G. It is a strong religious power (verses 3, 8).

    H. It is guilty of blasphemy (verses 1, 5, 6).

    I. It wars with and overcomes the saints (verse 7).

    J. It rules for 42 months (verse 5).

    K. It has a mysterious number—666 (verse 18).

    The “beast” introduced in Revelation 13:1 is simply another name for the “antichrist,” {aka mike 666pence}

I think McConnell needs to be told (repeatedly) that this is not about Trump alone. HE is responsible for losing Republican donors. His current position and actions on Kavanaugh are driving people from the Republican party as much as Trump. If you listened to the last two donors to jump ship they cited THE PARTY and the direction it is going, not Donald Trump, for the reason they are parting ways.
