Trump Administration taking offline for maintenance during Obamacare signup period. Again.

Gee, what a coincidence.

Courtesy of The Hill:

The Trump administration is planning hours-long downtimes for maintenance on during the coming ObamaCare sign-up period.

The administration drew criticism for a similar move last year from advocates who said the downtime would hinder efforts to sign people up for coverage, but the administration counters that maintenance downtime happens every year and is designed to occur during the slowest periods on the site.

The maintenance schedule is the same as last year, the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said Tuesday, meaning is scheduled to be offline for maintenance from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Sunday during the sign-up period, except for the final Sunday, for a total of 60 hours of downtime.

Officials said that is the maximum possible downtime, and said last year the actual downtime was significantly less than what was scheduled, at 21.5 hours out of a scheduled 60.

“Maintenance windows are regularly scheduled on every year during Open Enrollment,” a CMS spokesperson said.

Yeah, well that “scheduled maintenance” can be done anytime, and it is certainly NOT a coincidence that it happens during Obamacare signup every year.

Trump had been trying to kill Obamacare since even before he took office, and so far it has refused to die.

Just wait until the Dems take back the House and start working on getting the kinks out to make it run smoother.

Then it will be impossible for Trump to kill it, and when we finally get back the Senate and the White House we can start pushing for single payer.

Then Americans will finally have the health care they deserve.

ahem…. Trump has already filed a court action to have the coverage for preexisting conditions declared unconstitutional. That happened today.

it proves without doubt that Republicans that aren’t wealthy simply don’t love their families.

LOL where in the Constitution of the United States say that preexisting conditions are not allowed. Seems to me there is something about pursuit of happiness, doesn’t that come with being healthy?

OT>the White House is concerned about losing a key platform just before the midterms. Shine would “look into that.”

he Washington Post’s fact-check team reported Wednesday that almost EVERY SENTENCE in Trump’s opinion article for USA Today contains a misleading statement or a falsehood.

Congressman Ted Lieu, a major Trump critic, wrote:“Why did @realDonaldTrump write a false & misleading OpEd in USA Today on healthcare? Because the #GOP is getting obliterated on this issue. Americans watched the GOP sabotage healthcare. We watched the GOP sue to deny preexisting conditions coverage. And we will vote accordingly.”
“USA Today not only published a White House press release disguised as an “op-ed by Donald Trump,” it is using its Twitter account to blast out the article’s lies to 3.6 million followers.”
USA Today has done incalculable damage to the fight for universal healthcare in the United States.”

“I am opposed to raising the retirement age,” Putin said in 2005, waving his forefinger decisively. “As long as I am president, such a decision will not be made.”

On October 3rd, he broke that promise. “This is big money.”

“I think this is catastrophic for Putin,” Anders Aslund, a former economic advisor to Putin’s predecessor, Boris Yeltsin, told VICE News. “He’s in a big hole.”
The share of Russians who say they “trust” Putin has plummeted 20 points over just a few months to 39 percent, according to a new poll by Russia’s most-respected polling agency,
the Levada Center. ““The problem, foremost, is that there may be no other means of raising the approval rating besides fresh military adventures abroad,” said Stepan Goncharov, a senior researcher for the Levada Center.
“They go to the old tools, and the oldest tool is to threaten protesters,” “Meanwhile, the plan to grow the economy is pretty much to hope that OIL prices keep going up.”
“Putin’s popularity has now slid to a level not seen since Russia annexed the Ukrainian region of CRIMEa in early 2014,
    an event that booster his numbers and tapped into Russia’s patriotic streak. {Pooty Jizzed}

“This man does not need this job, he took this job because God provided him the intellect he has to help our country and to help the world,” she said.

She then went on to oddly say that Trump “respects people.”

“I love that he mentions God. He has a family. He respects people— whether people disagree with that or not. And he is the first who wants to take charge, take over, and help,” she said.

“You know this president is the first one to say he is pro-life. Let me tell you something, God is not happy with the United States of America killing their own people with this abortion. He is not pleased,”

Yep, the site is up all year round and they just happen to have to do maintenance when it is enrollment time, couldn’t be more obvious and we are not stupid.
