Another tantrum from the toddler-in-chief.

Courtesy of TPM:

The White House abruptly canceled President Donald Trump’s daily intelligence briefing with his chiefs Wednesday, a day after CIA Director Gina Haspel and DNI Dan Coats gave Congress a yearly threat assessment during which they contradicted many of Trump’s favorite talking points.

According to a Thursday Daily Beast report, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders gave no specific reason as to why the briefing was canceled: “It was moved,” she said.

After spending Wednesday criticizing his own intelligence officers on Twitter, Trump changed his stance and began blaming the media for making it “appear” that the chiefs undermined many of his claims.

That meeting was canceled on Wednesday, and then yesterday this happened:

So what do we think?

Did those Intelligence chiefs actually tell Trump that they had been misrepresented, even though there is a video which contradicts that, or did Trump demand that they never undermine him in public again and then release this bullshit version of their meeting and essentially dare them to refute it?

Once again, folks, this is why you do not put crazy people in positions of power.

“He likes somebody who is punching back at reporters who suggest things that the president doesn’t like. Rudy Giuliani is basically the TV lawyer. The real lawyers are operating behind the scenes,”

    Rudy Giuliani “pathetic.”

“History will remember you as an enabler, not a truth-teller,” Wilson wrote. “If you were still employed by the president or tap dancing on his behalf at any time in recent months, his stink is on you, and it won’t wash off.”

He doesn’t listen or understand what they are telling him anyway.

He doesn’t think he needs Haspel and Coats to give him daily briefings. He gets his intelligence briefings from Moscow.

Trump and intelligence briefings – kind of an oxymoron don’t you think?

Well, they were boring and redundant since he gets all the information he needs from Faux and his occasional “Puti call.”

“On Friday, President Donald Trump slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a televised White House meeting for denying him funding for a wall along the Southwest border.

“I think Nancy Pelosi should be ashamed of herself,” Trump said. “Because she’s hurting a lot of people. I think the Democrats should be ashamed of themselves,” he added.

On Friday, the Washington Examiner noted that Pelosi has the ability to make things a lot harder for Republicans.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi could move to block President Trump from invoking a national emergency to build a border wall, forcing Senate Republicans to choose between preserving congressional power and crossing the White House,” they write.

‘The California Democrat, under a seldom-used statute, could put a binding ‘resolution of disapproval’ on the House floor to counter Trump should he claim constitutional powers to unilaterally build a border wall. The president is threatening action if Congress refuses his demand for $5.7 billion in border wall funding.”

Although the president bowed to pressure to re-open government last Friday, he’s still pushing for funding for a border wall. Democrats continue to refuse to give it to him.”

Until there’s a concerted effort by Congress to speak out against and remove him, “intelligence,” welcome to another four years of this shit show.
They’re making big bucks off our backs. Jimmy crack corn…..
