A Houston-area gun store and shooting range has come under fire for advertising a “back to school” firearms sale — less than two weeks after back-to-back mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.

“Back to school sale August 13 through 18,” the Boyert Shooting Center in Katy recently posted on its marquee sign. “Up to 50 percent off firearms.”

Local resident Michelle Simons, who sent a photograph of the sign to KTRK-TV, said she was shocked by the store’s choice of words.

“It was so jarring like, ‘Did I really see that?’” Simons, whose husband is an educator, told the station. “What does back to school have anything to do with getting guns? I hope it was just some kind of glaring oversight.”

Holy crap!

Just when think there might be hope for Texas you quickly come to realize that there is no hope for Texas.

Snyder, 38, is also an advocate for pending California legislation, SB 276, which targets bogus medical exemptions that allow unvaccinated children to attend school. The number of medical exemptions issued by physicians has risen sharply in recent years. The Medical Board of California is investigating at least four doctors for issuing questionable exemptions for children.

“In a media statement, Wynne Police Chief Jackie Clark said officers responded to a report of “suspicious persons” and arrived to find four juveniles lying on the ground with a woman standing over them with a gun. The officer let the children stand up and they explained they were selling cards for a school athletic program.”

“On Monday, Wynne police arrested 46-year old Jerri Kelly on four counts of aggravated assault, false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Kelly doesn’t have a mugshot because Cross County Sheriff David West told WMC Action News 5 that she had a “medical issue” while she was being booked.
Kelly is the wife of Cross County Jail Administrator Joe Kelly, one of West’s employees.”

“It’s not the baby’s fault for the sin of the father, or of the mother,”

“U.S. Rep. Steve King told the Westside Conservative Club Wednesday that humanity might not exist if not for rape and incest throughout human history.

“What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled out anyone who was a product of rape or incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?” he said in Urbandale, Iowa. “Considering all the wars and all the rapes and pillages that happened throughout all these different nations, I know that I can’t say that I was not a part of a product of that.””

The proprietor said they want to sell guns to teachers. They’d like all teachers to be carrying concealed AK47s or whatnot.
