I think this is the part where you act surprised.

Courtesy of NBC News:

A South Carolina man who founded one of the nation’s biggest conversion therapy ministries has something to say: he’s gay.

The Post and Courier reports Hope for Wholeness founder McKrae Game came out of the closet this summer, nearly two years after he was fired from the faith-based conversion therapy program. He’s now trying to come to terms with the harm he inflicted when he was advocating for religious efforts to change a person’s sexuality.

“Conversion therapy is not just a lie, but it’s very harmful,” Game told The Post and Courier. “Because it’s false advertising.”

The 51-year-old also is trying to find his place in a community he’s assailed for at least 20 years. Game is one of several former movement leaders who have left the pulpits of heterosexuality, come out as LGBTQ and condemned conversion therapy as a dangerous and misleading practice.

My working theory is that just about anyone who works for a conversaion therapy center is probably gay.

They are religious and have been told their entire lives that they cannot live the way that they want or love who they want so they do not want any other LGBTQ folks enoying their lives either.

“If I can’t be happy bitch, neither can you!”

It really is a tragedy that superstitious nonsense from the dark ages continues to negatively affect people’s lives even today.

Of course he’s gay, and so is every homophobe spewing anti gay garbage to deflect the truth they sucked some guy off or regularly view porn showing the act. Closet dykes are tougher to pick up on radar, but usually give themselves away while raising a Bible in protest.

“During World War II, thousands of Americans of Japanese descent were forced from their homes and sent to internment camps, Takei among them. Now at 82 years old, he says that the Trump administration’s treatment of immigrants motivated him to speak out and revisit this in a new memoir.”

A stunning graphic memoir recounting actor/author/activist George Takei’s childhood imprisoned within American concentration camps during World War II. Experience the forces that shaped an American icon — and America itself — in this gripping tale of courage, country, loyalty, and love.”
