Sweet! Can we get that in writing?

Some Republican operatives are concerned that President Donald Trump could drop out of the race ahead of the presidential elections in November if his poll numbers continue to remain low.

“It’s too early, but if the polls continue to worsen, you can see a scenario where he drops out,” said one Republican operative to Fox News.

“I’ve heard the talk but I doubt it’s true,” said another. “My bet is, he drops if he believes there’s no way to win.”

Now I would caution anybody reading this to take it with a huge grain of salt.

You may remember that there were a number of predictions that Trump would drop out in 2016, and of course, we all know how that worked out.

Having said that we also know that Trump is desperate not to be embarrassed. Which a loss by a landslide to Joe Biden with surely cause him to feel.

So while it is not inconceivable that Trump might drop out if his poll numbers drop much further, I also would certainly not count on that as a likely possibility.

But if he did how ironic would it be that his very first endorsement came from the Alaska quitter-in-chief herself?
