Sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was denied bail today and will remain in jail until trial.

Apparently, you can’t buy your way out of jail every time.

The judge, Richard M. Berman of Federal District Court in Manhattan, said Mr. Epstein, who owns property in Paris and has a private plane, would be detained in jail until his trial on charges that he sexually abused and trafficked dozens of underage girls in the early 2000s.

Judge Berman emphasized Mr. Epstein’s danger to others, particularly his accusers and “prospective victims as well.” The judge cited what he called “compelling testimony” by two of the accusers — Annie Farmer and Courtney Wild — who said at a hearing on Monday that they feared for their safety and the safety of others if Mr. Epstein were to be released.

Mr. Epstein’s lawyers had proposed allowing him to post a substantial bond and remain in his mansion guarded around the clock by private security guards, whom he would pay. Prosecutors vigorously opposed that proposal, saying he was seeking “special treatment” and trying to build his own private jail — a “gilded cage.”

Judge Berman said that Mr. Epstein’s proposed bail package was “irretrievably inadequate,” and that he would not entertain any other bail proposals from the financier’s legal team.

“I doubt that any bail package can overcome danger to the community,” the judge said.

A judge’s decision to deny Jeffrey Epstein bail will encourage more women to come forward with allegations of sexual abuse when they were underage girls, a lawyer for several accusers said Thursday.

Manhattan federal Judge Richard Berman’s ruling made it “safer for everyone” to come forward against the multimillionaire financier and convicted pedophile, lawyer Sigrid McCawley said.

McCawley predicted that the number of current Epstein accusers was “just the tip of the iceberg,” and said that she had signed up four new clients following Epstein’s July 6 arrest.

“They’ve been living in this cage of fear and intimidation ever since he committed these horrible crimes against them,” she said.

Now that he is the one who is caged up perhaps they will feel free to not only talk about his crimes against them, but any accomplices he may have had as well.

Gee, I wonder who might be among that number?

Yeah, I wonder.

Of course he’s a flight risk. Surrounded by “his” private security guards, lawyers??
Oh yeah, nothing is going to happen “there,” Eye Roll.
I’ll just bet that there’s a lot of rich bastards sweating about now, and it’s not from the heat index.

“In 1977, Polanski was arrested and charged with drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl. He subsequently pled guilty to the lesser offence of unlawful sex with a minor. After spending 42 days undergoing psychiatric evaluation in prison in preparation for sentencing, Polanski, who had expected to be put on probation, fled to Paris after learning that the judge planned to imprison him”
“A turning point in his life took place in 1969, when his pregnant wife, Sharon Tate, and four friends were brutally murdered by members of the Manson Family.”
“In 2018, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted to expel Polanski from its membership because of the statutory rape case.”

Someone who knows they are looking at spending life in prison would sacrifice most of their fortune to escape.
This is exactly why I think donnie and fams will try to fly off and live with pootie in an attempt to escape their fate.
They too must be secured so as not to be allowed to escape the judgement they have coming.
