Robert Mueller report on Russia investigation will not be ready until after the midterms.

Seriously it needs to be ready the DAY after the midterms.

Courtesy of Bloomberg:

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is expected to issue findings on core aspects of his Russia probe soon after the November midterm elections as he faces intensifying pressure to produce more indictments or shut down his investigation, according to two U.S. officials.

Specifically, Mueller is close to rendering judgment on two of the most explosive aspects of his inquiry: whether there were clear incidents of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, and whether the president took any actions that constitute obstruction of justice, according to one of the officials, who asked not to be identified speaking about the investigation.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Mueller’s findings would be made public if he doesn’t secure unsealed indictments. The regulations governing Mueller’s probe stipulate that he can present his findings only to his boss, who is currently Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The regulations give a special counsel’s supervisor some discretion in deciding what is relayed to Congress and what is publicly released.

The question of timing is critical. Mueller’s work won’t be concluded ahead of the Nov. 6 midterm elections, when Democrats hope to take control of the House and end Trump’s one-party hold on Washington.

But this timeline also raises questions about the future of the probe itself. Trump has signaled he may replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions after the election, a move that could bring in a new boss for Mueller. Rosenstein also might resign or be fired by Trump after the election.

The article goes on to state that Rod Rosenstein wants this investigation to conclude as quickly as possible, and I would agree with that, not because I think there is not more to investigate, but because I think that Trump has every intention of firing Jeff Sessions and also likely Rosenstein himself as soon as the midterms are out of the way.

If Mueller has not found a way to conclude this investigation, or pass it off to the new Democratic majority in the House before Trump puts his own people in charge of it there is no way we will ever learn what Mueller discovered about collusion or obstruction.

So yes, I think time is of the essence, and for the first time in a while, I am starting to get nervous.

Would the people of TX please put Heidi out of her misery and elect Beto to Congress. then Rafaele can get a ‘real job” so Heidi can get her second home

Heidi Cruz complains about Ted’s $174,000 Senate salary: ‘We’re not buying a second home anytime soon’

Heidi Cruz, the wife of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), is upset that she still has to be her household’s primary breadwinner because her husband “only” makes $174,000 a year as a member of the United States Senate.

In an interview with The Atlantic, Cruz complained that her husband’s Senate career has meant that he’s been stuck making less than $200,000 a year for the past seven years, which puts more pressure on her to bring in the bucks.

“Six to seven years in it, with me being the primary breadwinner — it’s like, ‘Uh, yeah, this is when people say thank you. I’ll now take that appreciation,’” she said. “Yeah, we’re seven years into this, and we’re not buying a second home anytime soon.”

Cruz, who is an investment manager at Goldman Sachs, tells The Atlantic that she’s had to regularly work 70-hour weeks to make enough money to support her family. Despite this, she says she’s still supportive of what her husband is doing in politics.

“I really hope he wins his reelection,” she said. “I really feel mission-driven on what he’s accomplishing.”

“I just don’t know why this administration seems to feel the need to coddle autocrats and dictators from Putin to Kim Jong Un to, you know, Duterte,” Biden said. “I don’t understand it.”

“I don’t want to speculate on my worst fears,” he said. “But, either he doesn’t know what he is doing or he has an absolutely convoluted notion of what allows America to lead the world.”
“This election, you aren’t just voting for a candidate, you’re voting for which party controls Congress,” the president said at a rally in Montana last month. “I don’t even bring it up, because I view it as something that… you know… they like to use the ‘impeach’ word, ‘impeach Trump.’ But I say, how do you impeach somebody that’s doing a great job?”<WTF?WTF?WTF?

“My doubts are that there’s very little sense of rule of law, respect for human rights, dignity,” Biden said in the interview. “The allegations that are made so far . . . are not inconsistent with the way the kingdom would act.”

“Democrats take back all or one chamber of Congress, Eric Trump, and the Trump family finances are going to come under more scrutiny and investigation than they ever have before. The Trump family is already under investigation in New York where their foundation has been referred to as a criminal enterprise.

A real investigation of the Trump family finances could result in state charges that could send members of the Trump family to prison.
Republicans are using everything from voter suppression to violent protests to try to cling to power. ”
“They got the massive tax cut and two Supreme Court justices. Their big motivation was getting the Supreme Court. Now that they have ~IT~.”

“Hart responded in an email, “Ideally, I think it would first recap the oval meeting with what POTUS directed everyone to do then ask Emily [Murphy] to execute POTUS’s orders.”
On January 28, Hart also sent an email to officials in the Office of Legislative Affairs discussing Trump’s role that said, “GSA is going to hold our ground on funding source and that it is a demolition/new construction per the President’s instructions.”

I’m still hoping that Mueller has enough evidence and fore thought to get a sealed indictment against Trump. A sealed indictment would delay any prosecution of Trump until he is out of office. It would also eliminate the legal question on whether a sitting President can be indicted (while in office) and it would negate the Kavanaugh threat of the Supreme Court ruling in Trump’s favor.

Putin just gave a speech where he celebrates the end of global domination by the United States because we’ve made too many mistakes.

Yeah, mostly one big orange one. But it was preceded by a lot of Republican ones. Michael Cohen is right. The Republicans cannot be allowed to retain majorities in the House or Senate. McConnell has already promised to destroy the ACA as #1 on his to-do list. Next up is eliminating Medicare, Medicaid and eventually Social Security to pay for those tax cuts for the wealthy.

Russian oligarch Viktorovich Prigozhon paid Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova to run a troll farm called Project Lakhta to spead distrust of the American political system and they are still operating.

Anyone think he did this on his own and Putin knows nothing? Anyone think this is the only oligarch funding a troll farm?

Let’s not forget how many times Bitch McConnell has blocked or obstucted any attempts to block these Russian hackers or secure our elections. After all, it is just another arrow in his quiver of cheating to-win.

They’re obstructing native Americans in North Dakota to undermine Heidi Heitcamp’s re-election. And we all know what they’re doing in Georgia. In state after state there is all sorts of voter suppression. The Russian troll farms are just another Republican CHEAT. It’s the only way they can stay in power.
