Republicans for the Rule of Law are running another ad on Fox News going after Trump and “Moscow Mitch.”

Oh that one is definitely going to leave a mark!

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is getting hit by members of his own party in a new TV ad airing Thursday in Washington D.C., and in his home state.

The spot urges voters to call McConnell and demand a vote on the election security bills he blocked last week. It also features a supercut of President Donald Trump dismissing the well-documented threat of election interference from Russia.

The ad also contains comments by Trump in which he not only claims Russia isn’t a threat, but admits he’d take dirt on a rival if Moscow offered it.

“It’s not an interference,” Trump said in an ABC interview in June. “They have information. I think I’d take it.”

The ad will run on “Morning Joe” on MSNBC and during “Fox & Friends” on Fox News in D.C. (the latter is known to be one of Trump’s favorite shows).

I would be ineterested to know if these commercials are having any impact on hardline Fox News viewers or if their cognitive dissonance is so severe that it simply cannot penetrate.

They are powerful commercials that’s for sure, so I imagine that there are at least a few casual Fox viewers who are having the scales drop from their eyes.

Don’t you think?

Forget the trump cult members, they are only 30 % of the electorate and hell will freeze over before they change their minds, in fact many of them said they don’t care if the russians elected trump as long as it wasn’t Hillary.

We need to change the minds of those republicans and independents that voted for trump to ” give him a chance” and ‘he’ll become more presidential once in office” .

trump is still ranting that the Mueller report was a hoax and witch hunt yet he continues to say it totally exonerated him,

Why doesn’t ask him how can he be exonerated if it was a hoax? can’t have it both ways bud.

“So Trump meets Alaska’s governor in his airplane and agrees to push through a goldmine that had been stopped b/c it will devastate salmon habitat. This at a time that orcas are already starving death. Salmon carry entire ecosystems on their backs. Gold over life, literally.”

….Based on reporting by CNN that only emerged Friday evening, the key developments happened weeks ago after Trump’s one-on-one meeting with Dunleavy—who has supported the copper and gold Pebble Mine project in Bristol Bay despite the opposition of conservationists, Indigenous groups, salmon fisheries experts, and others….

Instead of Mexico paying for Trump’s wall, Senate Republicans plan to use health and education funding.
Senate Republicans reportedly plan to divert billions of dollars from health and education to make up the difference.

Roll Call reported on Thursday that Senate Appropriations Chairman Richard Shelby (R-AL) has written a Fiscal Year 2020 Labor-HHS-Education spending bill allocation
“that is about $5 billion lower than it would have been to provide funding for the wall.”
