Speaking by phone with the hosts of “Fox & Friends,” Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) attacked special counsel Robert Mueller’s report as a “partisan document,” even before seeing it, and said it should set on fire.
‘We can just burn it up,” Nunes said of the report submitted to Attorney General William Barr. “I mean, it is a partisan document. So there’s going to be a lot of calls for that. And the Democrats are going to be saying we need to see the underlying information.”
“What we really need to see is what was the FBI’s involvement with Fusion GPS,” he ranted. “I don’t want to gloss over this for the viewers, but Fusion GPS was essentially the Hillary Clinton campaign — they were hired by the Clinton campaign.”
Nunes went on to complain about the FBI interviewing Roger Stone associate Jerome Corsi before stating they had “every right” to speak with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange — before admitting we wouldn’t agree with that either.
Boy if I did not know any better, I would think that somebody was really afraid of what this report reveals.
Of course, it is also a little hard to take anybody seriously who just got his ass handed to him by a cow on Twitter. @DevinCow
