Possibly my favorite part from yesterday’s impeachment hearing.

I love watching Devin Nunes being shut down.

I tweeted that Nunes was trying to out the whistleblower several minutes before Adam Schiff shut that whole thing down.

I was also yelling at my TV the he needed to do something.

I’ll assume he heard me.

The Republicans also attempted to suggest that Vindeman had split loyalties between the US and Ukraine.

But he shut that down as well.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman laughed off questions about an offer by a Ukrainian official to serve as that country’s defense minister.

The Soviet-born Vindman, who emigrated to the U.S. as a child and later served in the Iraq War, agreed that a Ukrainian official had offered him the government position three times during an official visit for the inauguration of the country’s new president, Volodymyr Zelensky.

“I don’t know (why the position was offered), but every single time I dismissed it,” Vindman said. “Upon returning I notified my chain of command and the appropriate counter-intelligence folks about the offer.”

Vindman agreed the offer from Ukraine’s national security chairman Oleksandr Danyliuk was flattering but told the Republican counsel Stephen Castor that he never seriously considered the offer.

“I think it would be a great honor, and frankly I’m aware of service members that have left service to help nurture the developing democracies in that part of the world,” Vindman testified. “If I recall correctly, it was an Air Force officer that became a minister of defense.”

But I’m an American,” he added. “I came here when I was a toddler, and I immediately dismissed these offers, did not entertain them.”

Castor continued pressing Vindman, whose loyalty has been questioned by Fox News broadcasters and guests.

“The whole notion is rather comical that I was being asked to consider whether I’d want to be the minister of defense,” Vindman said. “I did not leave the door open at all.”

Vindman said Danyliuk’s offer was never made again, and Castor asked if the initial offer may have compromised him.

“I’m not sure if you meant it as a joke or not,” Vindman said, “but it’s much more important what my civilian White House national security council chain of command thinks more so than anybody else, and frankly, if they were concerned about me being able to continue my duties, they would have brought that to my attention.”

Not only is Lt. Col. Vindman an American he is a much better example of what it means to be an American than the phony liar currently occupying the White House.

My favorite part was when Gym Jordan claimed that Vindman’s superiors were critical of him…. until Vindman pulled out and read from his July performance review and it was ab-so-lute-ly glowing. Jordan pulled his head in like the slug he is.

I have an old t-shirt probably sewn by a poor four year old in a hellish overseas sweatshop somewhere
that is more American than Trump.

Trump loves the Saudi Arabians—must be the oil and cash.
Bowed and scraped to Erdogan—must fear for his hotel in Turkey.
Thinks Duterte had great ideas about killing drug users—he must want to put a hotel in the Philippines.
    Hated Qatar—-they didn’t give Jared a loan.
Russia . . . . . Laundered billions for them. Billions. Of course they troll and laugh at him, much like the sociopath does
in North Korea who Trump helped elevate so he could get photo- ops and a delusional wish for a peace prize.

“Raw Story’s sentence about Vindman coming to the US as a toddler is oddly phrased, as if it came from Gym Jordan’s mouth. Vindman was born in the Soviet Union and Don the Con’s first wife and his third were born in Iron Curtain countries – not so different. Does that make them automatically suspect also? And Vindman’s family “immigrated” to the US at the same time that they were “emigrating” from the USSR. I expect better phrasing from “Raw Story,” or at least more accurate.

The army is looking into finding a safe house for Vindman and his family because they are concerned the trump supporters are going to do something to them. such patriots, trump must be proud he has is zombie cult members to do his dirty work.

This was also my favorite moment, second was when questioned why it wasn’t ok for Vindman to go out of the chain of command and reported the call to legal counsel, when asked Morrison, who did the same thing, HAD NO ANSWER !!

third favorite moment, Volker stating Biden is a man of integrity, gosh and he was a republican witness.

Sounds like Sondland is nailing the coffin: “Secretary Perry, Ambassador Volker and I worked with Mr. Rudy Giuliani on Ukraine matters at the express direction of the President of the United States,” the statement says. “We did not want to work with Mr. Giuliani. Simply put, we played the hand we were dealt. We all understood that if we refused to work with Mr. Giuliani, we would lose an important opportunity to cement relations between the United States and Ukraine. So we followed the President’s orders.”

tinydjtjr tweet>Anyone listening to Vindman stammer through this seemingly trying to remember the Catch Phrases he was well coached on should get that.
He’s a low level partisan bureaucrat and nothing more.

“Daddy Bone Spurs must be very proud of him.”

Biden announced his candidacy on April 25th. The very next week, Trump spoke with Putin on the phone for a long time and Giuliani’s activities in Ukraine expanded from the Ukraine/Hillary conspiracy BS to the corrupt Bidens BS. Amazing coincidence! Garry Kasparov
