Parents and administrators at a United Nations school don’t want their students to be seen in public with Melania Trump.

I don’t blame them.

Parents and administrators at a United Nations school are seeking a diplomatic solution to a standoff over a controversial invitation to students to attend a Stock Exchange bell-ringing with First Lady Melania Trump.

A notice went out Monday to parents of students at the United Nations International School asking children to join the first lady to tour the Stock Exchange and ring the opening bell next week.

There is only room for 10 students on the tour, but that was enough to rile some parents who said they’re concerned the kids will be used as political props.

“I am profoundly disappointed by the decision to accept this invitation,” said one UN worker and parent in a letter to a UN undersecretary-general.

The parent added others are concerned the childrens’ “appearance together with the First Lady confers, by extension, on this U.S. administration, the endorsement of our school and our community.”

Apparently the school also had to provide grief counseling after Trump won the election.

So yeah, if they are that sensitive just imagine how traumatized they would be if they had to actually spend time with Melania Trump.

Speaking of Melania Trump has anybody seen what she did to the White House?

I think it’s clear that she chose the early 19th-century cathouse as her theme.

Seems somewhat appropriate if you think about it since this is where the whole country is getting fucked.

    Red room. Redrum.

Well, at least she stopped short of finding a way to work those red “trees” into the theme.

IIRC, Melania did EVERYTHING for a previous state dinner all by herself. Such a showpiece was the dinner, that photographers weren’t allowed in to see the amazing celebration of her magnificent and multi-talented self. barf

It is a pet peeve of mine when a person claims with a sense of entitlement ALL the credit as if no one else contributed anything to the result.

Like Paliin’s $50K makeover of her office using highway funds into her mayor bordello?

I was wondering how long it would take for the first porn model to turn the WH into a tacky bordello, just look at their apt in trump tower, lower class trashy look. What did this cost the taxpayers?

As the saying goes Money doesn’t buy class or taste and with the trumps it is still up for discussion whether they actually even have money, that is money they haven’t scammed from the taxpayers.

Actually, the public rooms were renovated under the oversight of the organization that Jackie Kennedy created. The only room Melania had deduction making authority over was the private dining room and it sounds awful and inappropriate to the building. Thankfully it is out of sight of the public and the next first spouse can redo it for something more tasteful and in keeping with the rest of the building.

Greta Thunberg says she was “an invisible girl” for most of her 16 years.

Greta’s belief that “no one is too small to make a difference” is clearly spreading throughout this generation, and we are all better for it.
