Oh, this could be big.

Oprah Winfrey, the Oscar-nominated self-made billionaire and media icon, is heading to Georgia to campaign for Stacey Abrams.

The star will join Abrams, the Democratic candidate for governor, on Thursday. If Abrams wins the race, she will be the first black woman governor in the history of the US.

Big names in Democratic politics are also rallying to help Abrams in the final stretch of the election: Winfrey’s visit comes just a day ahead of former president Barack Obama’s trip to Atlanta to campaign for Abrams and other Democrats on the ballot at the HBCU Morehouse College. Other senior Democrats who have campaigned in-state for Abrams include former vice president Joe Biden and Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker.

Winfrey has rarely campaigned in-person with political candidates, but did so with Obama in 2008 (she endorsed Hillary Clinton in her presidential bid in 2016).

Winfrey will join Abrams on Thursday, Nov. 1, at two town hall conversations with constituents — in Cobb County and DeKalb County. She will also be knocking on doors, in these last few days of early voting in the state, encouraging eligible voters to cast their ballots for Abrams.

Oprah campaigning for you is not like just any other celebrity campaigning for you, Oprah gets shit done!

I give Oprah a lot of credit for raising Obama’s profile back in 2008, and I think she can do the same thing with Abrams.

Can you even imagine opening your door and seeing Oprah Winfrey on the other side asking you to support her candidate?

Georgia could most certainly be getting its very first black female governor in the next handful of days.

Oh my Oprah! Lol. Who needs policy, just get another out of touch Hollywood gazillion-are to pretend they care about the little folk.

How is that Swiftie support doing btw? Laughable.

Don’t be jealous I am sure you still have time to get Ted “Poopy pants” Nugent out to campaign for your candidate before election day.

I mean seriously what else does he have going on?

      • Anonymous October 31, 2018 at 6:45 pm

Do you actually think Oprah is going to make any difference Gryph? She makes no more difference than Teddy poopy pants does. Seriously, grow up. People already know who they are going to vote for months ago. Oprah, the Nuge… none of these people change anything. It is just silly you think they do. And again, how is Miss Swifties candidate doing? You were so sure she was going to swing the vote.

        Policy brother. Policy.

Speaking of policy Kemp just canceled his last scheduled debate with Abrams because he is a cowardly piece of shit.

Oh my! Candidates and their campaigns are making tactical campaign strategy decisions to win, because campaigns are sooo honest and good willed on both sides of the isle gryphen! Good god man. Seriously, grow up.

            Oh and…. that great Oprah!

“Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad,” the singer said in the post, which accompanied a meme of Winfrey and Weinstein. “When you have been part of the problem for decades, but suddenly they all think you are the solution,” the meme says, over photos of the two at events, one with Winfrey kissing Weinstein’s cheek.

You sure don’t see $arah out there stumping for anyone, do you, 5:03 PM? She’s made herself into a political pariah. SO BE IT.
I may have grown tired of Oprah years ago, but at least she’s one of the few that walks her talk. More than I can say for countless others.

“I heard Oprah is in town today. I heard Will Ferrell was going door-to-door the other day. I’d like to remind Stacey and Oprah and Will Ferrell, I’M kind of a big deal, tOO,” the Vice President told supporters of Brian Kemp – 666Pence “said Thursday a vote for Brian Kemp is tantamount to support for President Donald Trump.”
