Apparently “bad optics” is not a phrase with which Donald Trump is familiar.

Rudy Giuliani was spotted heading into the White House Friday morning moments before a Congressional committee voted for impeachment, raising the possibility that he plans to brief President Trump on his latest dirt-digging trip to Ukraine.

The ex-mayor, who is under federal criminal investigation, strode into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue under an American flag umbrella as the House Judiciary Committee prepared to approve two articles of impeachment.

And apparently Rudy did not show up empty handed.

President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani told the president that his trip to Ukraine produced “more than you can imagine,” a source told The Wall Street Journal.

The former mayor of New York returned to the U.S. Saturday after visiting Kyiv for the first time in two years to interview Ukrainian officials and gather information.

Giuliani is attempting to make a documentary TV series that shows justification for Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden as well as Kyiv’s role and potential interference in the 2016 general election.

Of course, Giuliani is going to present this evidence in a reality TV show, how else would Donald Trump possibly understand it?

So to be clear, while Congress was voting to impeach Donald Trump for using the power of his office to dig up dirt on a potential political rival, his personal attorney was still trying to dig up dirt on that same political rival.

I swear that if somebody wrote this as a made for TV movie that nobody would buy it because it is too outlandish to believe.
