On Alabama white nationalist website they are launching a Russian language page. Of course they are.

Are we sure this is not an SNL skit?

Courtesy of The Hill:

An Alabama organization designated as a white supremacist hate group by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is launching a Russian-language page calling on Russia and the American South to become allies.

A letter posted to the League of the South’s website first reported by AL.com spoke of natural similarities between Russian culture and the conservative southerners.

“As fellow Whites of northern European extraction, we come from the same general gene pool. As inheritors of the European cultural tradition, we share similar values, customs, and ways of life. And as Christians, we worship the same Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and our common faith binds us as brothers and sisters,” the group’s leader Michael Hill wrote.

Hill’s letter continued that the site’s Russian-language page would be the “first step” toward building “[a] firm and resolute understanding and commitment to cooperation between the Russian people and the people of the South [that] could indeed be the foundation for a better world in which our peoples thrive and prosper far into the future.”

The group’s move to establish the page comes days after President Trump’s bilateral summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which the two leaders spoke about decreasing tensions between their two nations.

Okay so first we probably should not read too much into this.

But then second how in the fuck are we supposed to not read too much into this?

I mean what in the hell do southern white supremacists have in common with the Russkies other than undying support for the asshole in the White House?

Of course, now that I think about it we should have seen this coming after all the southern racist Trump supporters are already Facebook friends with most of the Russian FSB agents.

By the way, does anybody remember exactly how long Alice was tumbling down that rabbit hole?

OT? “Trump is God’s chosen one.”OK?! ” “I think they are trying to frame him.”
As the Post reports, “It was summer, and all over the Bible Belt, support for President Trump was rising among voters who had traditionally proclaimed the importance of Christian character in leaders and warned of the slippery slope of moral compromise. In Crenshaw County, where Luverne is located, Trump had won 72 percent of the vote.””“Recent national polls showed the president’s approval among white evangelical Christians at a high of 77 percent,” the report added. “One survey indicated that his support among Southern Baptists was even higher, surpassing 80 percent, and these were the people arriving on Sunday morning to hear what their pastor had to say.” “Brett Green, 33, he was directed to vote for Trump by the “Holy Spirit.”

“That’s why we have the Holy Spirit,” Green explained. Saying his support of the president is “like a gut feeling” “< like eating a Big Mac? "“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries coming here?”

“Jesus Christ was born in Nazareth, and Nazareth was a shithole at that time,” Green rationalized. “Someone might say, ‘How could anything good come out of a place like that?’ Well, Jesus came out of a place like that.”"
"“George Washington had a mistress. Thomas Jefferson did, too. Roosevelt had a mistress with him when he died. Eisenhower. Kennedy.”

“None of them are lily-white,” "”ABORTION is front and center when it comes to support for Trump and that he is willing to look the other way because he believes Trump is anti-choice.

“I hate it,” “My wife and I talk about it all the time. We rationalize the immoral things away. We don’t like it, but we look at the alternative, and think it could be worse than this.”

The alternative, in their view was Hillary Clinton, who they described as “Of Satan.”

“She hates me,” Drew confided . “She has contempt for people like me, and [First Baptist Pastor Clay Crum], and people who love God and believe in the Second Amendment. I think if she had her way it would be a dangerous country for the likes of me.””<Right?!

I’m sorry but dotard is NOT God’s “chosen one” any more than Palin believing she’s Queen Esther reincarnated.

OT? tinydjt>“Looking more & more like the Trump Campaign for President was illegally being spied upon (surveillance) for the political gain of Crooked Hillary Clinton and the DNC. Ask her how that worked out – she did better with Crazy Bernie. Republicans must get tough now. An illegal Scam!”

Wish I could make out what the words are under NAACP.
No amount of money could make me step foot in the south.

Putin is seen by many white evangelicals as the “great white hope” who will save their white culture. To these evangelicals, their white culture is more important than everything else, and they would gladly sacrifice democracy and freedom to achieve it. Donnie Dotard is no more than a tool they will use since he shares their racism and ignorance. Putin is their god on earth.

    Bowel? “The Movement.”
“Headquartered in Brussels, home of the European Parliament, Bannon told the Daily Beast he wants to unite the populists in a right-wing “supergroup” within the parliament. With Europe-wide elections to be held next May, Bannon predicts his group could bring together as many as a third of European lawmakers.

“A united populist bloc of that size would have the ability to seriously disrupt parliamentary proceedings, potentially granting Bannon huge power within the populist movement,””
” “Everybody agrees that next May is hugely important, that this is the real first continent-wide face-off between populism and the party of Davos. This will be an enormously important moment for Europe.””Paraphrasing John Milton’s Satan in Paradise Lost, Bannon said: “I’d rather reign in hell, than serve in heaven.”

“Human beings have been trading across political borders for as long as human beings have recorded their activity.” colonialism

“Under a system of perfectly free commerce, each country naturally devotes its capital and labour to such employments as are most beneficial to each,” Ricardo wrote. “This pursuit of individual advantage is admirably connected with the universal good of the whole.”
” Ricardo converted a vast array of political choices ― including the very existence of the British Empire and American slavery ― into what looked like a simple, mathematical truth:
More trade equals greater prosperity. But the 19th-century mantra of “free trade!” was, among other things, a euphemism for enriching slaveowners.” “Free trade rhetoric almost always serves a magical function:
It erases ugly, violent political realities and replaces them with clean, natural progress. To its evangelists, free trade isn’t just a way to maximize profits and production. It offers a path to the elimination of human evil.”

Americans give Trump negative marks for Helsinki performance, poll finds

By wide margins, Americans give President Trump negative marks for his conduct during a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week and for his casting doubt on U.S. intelligence conclusions that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Putin was bankrolling this group. He is losing shit tons of money with the sanctions. That’s what all of this is about, pooty poot’s money.

    • Anonymous July 22, 2018 at 2:18 pm

Putin wants the sanctions, they don’t touch him, only the “peasants” ie the russian people. then he can use that as a political taking point that the west and the US is out to get them so he can rally the people behind him and he can fool them with his “democracy”.

  9. Nottobedisplayed July 22, 2018 at 12:00 pm

Not surprising at all. Putin hates gays, people of color, activists, green energy, women’s rights and so on. He is Big Oil personified and a shameless fascist.

Doesn’t that sound a lot like a certain voting block of the USA?

A Russian language page, thanks for the laugh of the day, these folks barely speak English let alone Russian.

As for the same gene pool, talk about a family tree with no branches.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they did a DNA test that most of these so called southern white supremacists have African genes, oh boy wouldn’t that just be the icing on the cake.
