Omarosa secretly taped conversations with her former boss Donald Trump.

Did anybody working with Trump NOT tape him?

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer, isn’t the only one with secretly recorded audio of the president.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation tell The Daily Beast that Omarosa Manigault-Newman, the infamous former Apprentice star who followed Trump to the White House, secretly recorded conversations with the president—conversations she has since leveraged while shopping her forthcoming “tell-all” book, bluntly titled UNHINGED.

For months, it has been rumored that Manigault had clandestinely recorded on her smartphone “tapes” of unspecified private discussions she had in the West Wing. Audio actually does exist, and even stars Manigault’s former boss.

One person confirmed to The Daily Beast they had heard at least one of her recordings featuring President Trump. Multiple sources familiar with the so-called “Omarosa tapes” described the recorded conversations between Trump and Manigault as anodyne, everyday chatter, but said they did appear to feature Trump’s voice, either over the phone or in-person.

I have no idea if there is anything scandalous on these tapes, but considering that they feature conversations with Donald Trump behind the scenes it is hard to imagine that they don’t.

Omarosa is a reality show drama queen, so to expect her to respect confidentiality, or the office of the president is ridiculous.

But then again since this is a ridiculous, reality show, drama-filled version of the presidency, it really just seems to be par for the course.

Update: Get this.

Well now I really want to hear these recordings.

Of course he will survive it, at least with his 30% supporters. Until we get rid of the republicans in Congress, trump has full reign to act as stupid as he wants.

Michael Moore’s ‘Fahrenheit 11/9’ Trailer Aims To Expose Trump’s ‘Evil Genius’
The fiery documentary filmmaker is back with a portrait of America’s divide.

“Fahrenheit 11/9” seeks to “bring Trump down” before November’s midterm elections.

HuffPost has an exclusive look at the first trailer for “Fahrenheit 11/9,” a reference to the day Trump was declared the winner of the 2016 election. It juxtaposes footage of Trump rallies and neo-Nazi protests with images of Moore using Flint water to hose down the Michigan governor’s gated driveway.

“When we started making “Fahrenheit 9/11,” George W. Bush had a 70 percent approval rating, 29 Democratic senators had voted for the Iraq war, and The New York Times and the liberal establishment were all aiding and abetting Bush and his war. Every TV network was waving the American flag, and those of us who dissented were in a lonely minority and called unpatriotic. Outlets like HuffPost didn’t exist and MSNBC was trying to out-Fox Fox News. It was a dark, dark time, and America and the world has paid a very steep price for it.

Now we live in even darker times. So that hasn’t changed!

However, we now live in a very liberal country. Most Americans may not label themselves as liberal, but if you look at almost every major issue, the majority of Americans support the liberal position. They want Medicare for All. They believe in women’s equality and equal pay. They believe immigration is good for America. They believe in LGBQT rights and marriage equality. They want gun control. They want to break up the big banks. They want universal pre-K and free public college for all. They want to tax the rich and corporations. And on and on and on. It’s amazing how liberal the American people are when you look at it issue by issue.”

Koch-commissioned poll backfires as findings show most Americans oppose their right-wing policies

…But mostly left out of the RealClearPolitics write-up is the fact that the poll also surveyed Americans in detail on a number of issues they felt would help them overcome social barriers, and found that Americans are quite favorable to a set of policies that the Koch network opposes. Where the Koch brothers see government tyranny, most Americans see common-sense solutions to basic problems:

Conservatives are fueling an epidemic of disinformation because they only care about winning

How did Alex Jones become possible? Because we tolerated “lesser” lies for too long
Right-wingers have gotten away with ridiculous lies for years. No wonder they’re going all in for Alex Jones

…What’s going on here is not a mystery. American conservatives long ago decided that nothing mattered more than winning. They won’t hesitate to support harassment, defamation, disinformation or, as we’re now learning, possible treason, if they feel the end result will be a few more votes for the Republican party.

But the whole Jones debacle highlights a very real problem that social media and other content platforms have to contend with: Where do you draw the line? Jones may be on the fringe, but his show was linked to the Republican mainstream in the sense that most of the American conservative movement functions by peddling disinformation and, in many cases, conspiracy theories. Banning all disinformation from these sites would mean wiping out the vast majority of right-wing content, which would no doubt result in even more squalling that we’re hearing now. But the current situation, where some lies cross the line but others don’t, is a muddled mess that allows for all the bad-faith posturing about “free speech” that’s going on now.

    Waiting…Tom Arnold…?

    • Anonymous August 11, 2018 at 10:35 am

Lol. Are you still believing that Tom Arnold has “something”, or is just interested in self promotion trying to profit off the Trump hatred, much like Omarosa?

It is so silly that you folks these people have ANYTHING! They all say they have something, but never produce the milk, just tv time and books and whatnot.

Wake up folks. Trump is nearly two years into his Presidency and nothing. Nothing. He is starting to look like a shoe in for another term unless Democrats start acting like adults, with an actual unified and sensible positions on policy. Simply hating Trump is not a position on policy for starters. And that policy will not involve pure socialistic ideals such as ‘free college for all ‘ (what a joke the ‘Socialist Democrats’ are). People want better tuition that is affordable as it was in the past…. colleges are going the way of big corporations, have been for 25+ years. The solution is everyone STOP going to college for a few years. Empty campuses. Heads will roll and useless majors will be cut. College Presidents and their huge CEO like salaries will be terminated, and tuition’s will be slashed in half or more begging people to come back. Until then work at whatever jobs are out there, maybe two, save some cash, and enjoy life until the colleges are starved out of their greedy ways.

“The news from Tribune Media brings to a conclusion the attempted merger of two major media companies that was widely attacked throughout the industry. It was, however, believed to have had a supporter in Trump-appointed FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, who has been known for his deregulatory agenda, leading to fewer restrictions against consolidation in the media industry.

The proposed merger’s chances of being approved were lowered last month when Pai made the announcement that he had “serious concerns” about the merger.”

I am presuming if there was anything incriminating on the tape Omarosa, being such a patriotic person, not interested in money and self promotion, would have taken the tape to the FBI or Mueller.

Now that she got burned by trump, does she still think “everyone” will be bowing down to him?

Media boost security as Trump ramps up ‘enemy’ rhetoric
TV networks are employing security guards at the president’s high-octane rallies.

Notebooks, mics, cameras, hairspray — those are all things TV reporters are used to having with them at political rallies. Now, in the age of President Donald Trump, they’ve added another: security guards.

The networks are employing them, according to reporters, at Trump’s high-octane political rallies, where the media often serves as the No. 1 rhetorical punching bag.

    “According to the Guardian:

She says she confided in the former White House communications director Hope Hicks, who said, “I need to hear it for myself,” and continued to ask her frequently about what progress she was making.

She believes that Hicks told the White House chief of staff, John Kelly, that Omarosa was close to getting her hands on the tape, and this gave him cause to terminate her job, though he found a different pretext.”

“No. There was one tweet, it didn’t criticize the travel ban, and it was clear at the time from my and others’ personal interactions with him that he didn’t hold it against me—not one bit. From what I saw and heard, any suggestion he would have used such slurs is preposterous.
