Smells like accountability to me.

Courtesy of TPM:

The Office of Special Counsel recommended that President Trump fire senior adviser Kellyanne Conway over repeated violations of the Hatch Act in a Thursday statement.

A report attached to the statement labels Conway a “repeat offender,” and says that her violations, “if left unpunished, would send a message to all federal employees that they need not abide by the Hatch Act’s restrictions.”

The Hatch Act bans federal employees from engaging in partisan political activity. The Office of Special Counsel is a federal watchdog agency that monitors federal employees.

The OSC report states that “If Ms. Conway were any other federal employee, her multiple violations of the law would almost certainly result in removal from her federal position by the Merit Systems Protection Board.”

“Her actions erode the principal foundation of our democratic system – the rule of law,” a letter prefacing the report reads.

A Trump nominee — Henry Kerner — is in charge of the OSC. “OSC respectfully requests that Ms. Conway be held to the same standards as all other federal employees, and, as such, you find removal from federal service to be appropriate disciplinary action,” Kerner wrote in the Thursday letter to Trump.

Investigators cite a May 29, 2019 media appearance in which Conway appeared to downplay the law’s significance. “If you’re trying to silence me through the Hatch Act, it’s not going to work,” Conway said. “Let me know when the jail sentence starts.”

What a snotty little bitch.

The Trump White House responded back with this according to WaPo:

“Others, of all political views, have objected to the OSC’s unclear and unevenly applied rules which have a chilling effect on free speech for all federal employees,” deputy White House press secretary Steven Groves said in a statement. “Its decisions seem to be influenced by media pressure and liberal organizations, and perhaps OSC should be mindful of its own mandate to act in a fair, impartial, nonpolitical manner, and not misinterpret or weaponize the Hatch Act.”

Did that sound a little threatening to anybody else?

Conway is the reason houses fall on people during tornadoes.

I still remember that pic of her in Oval, cloven hooves up underneath her in the the Oval.
Get your feet off “my” couch, bitch.

Like everyone else in the Trump administration Conway believes she is above the law. Taken a step further she doesn’t even believe the law applies to her or her loathsome boss. An ordinary citizen guilty of her remarks and or actions would be handcuffed and hauled off to the slammer. The corruption and total disregard for the rule of law shown by the Trump WH is quite staggering, to the point where you have to wonder if the country can drag itself out of this bottomless swamp that he promised to drain.

Yes, trump is still complaining about those two FBI agents saying mean things about him, both of which were fired, but it is ok for Kelllyanne Con Artist to spread lies about the opposition. I don’t think even the Nixon administration was this corrupt

“If you’re trying to silence me through the Hatch Act, it’s not going to work,” Conway said. “Let me know when the jail sentence starts.”
Let her wish come true and LOCK HER UP.

Who’s going to enforce this? The White House? The Justice Department? Dotard’s lapdogs in the senate? Under Dotard’s administration, all three organizations have consistently giving the middle finger to America and our democracy. We should not expect them to do what is right under this circumstance or any circumstance.

    • Anonymous June 13, 2019 at 6:17 pm

No we should not and I don’t, Paul, look at what
Steven Groves said. Following rules and expecting them to abide by laws and the Constitution is a liberal and media attack. They will do what they WANT. FTW.

    July 3, 2009!

“On Thursday’s edition of CNN’s “OutFront,” commentator and American Urban Radio Network bureau chief April Ryan tore into outgoing White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, laying bare her lies, failures, inadequacies, and outright misconduct in the role.

“You said Sarah Sanders needed to be fired after the Mueller report … laid out how she lied and admitted lying to the press about why Trump fired Jim Comey as the director of the FBI,” said anchor Erin Burnett. “So what’s your reaction to the news today?”

“Erin, she did the right thing,” said Ryan. “She should have done the right thing a long time ago. The reason why I say that is because she suffers from ‘lie-abetes.’ And her tenure has been fraught with sex, lies, and videotape.”

“From the moment she stepped in that position, there were lies from that podium from her mouth about the videotape, ‘grab by the P-word’ with the tic-tac,” said Ryan. “Then she’s lied, lied, lied, lied lied. And then the video, that propaganda video that she put out about our own Jim Acosta. You know, saying that he hit someone when he indeed didn’t, to take his badge from him. And he ultimately got it back after court rulings and a big fight.””

Sarah Huckabee Sanders really did defined herself as an unethical, lying POS from day one. She didn’t think twice about trying to ruin reputations, like the fake video of Jim Acosta or the phony feedback she claimed to have received from numerous FBI agents who she claimed were glad to see Jim Comey gone. Sanders is right out of Trump’s playbook. Arkansas can have her back. And I feel sorry for those poor kids of hers – what a maternal role model!?

And Kellyanne Conway contributes nothing to the American people.

One of them eats too much and the other drinks too much.

Trump was asked if he was going to tell her to stop breaking the law, he answered, “It doesn’t work that way…She’s trying to make a point and how could you do this? Basically, you take a person — a person wouldn’t be able to express themselves and I just don’t see it.”

  7. Anonymous June 14, 2019 at 10:10 am

How long before hubby divorces her? He does seem sane and rather reasonable…I’ve read articles written by him. He’s already tolerated her awfulness for too long.

Another solution – it’s called Disbarment. If they revoke her law license they may finally get her attention.
