Gee, ya think?

An overwhelming 70% of Americans think President Donald Trump’s request to a foreign leader to investigate his political rival, which sits at the heart of the House of Representatives’ impeachment inquiry, was wrong, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds

A slim majority of Americans, 51%, believe Trump’s actions were both wrong and he should be impeached and removed from office. But only 21% of Americans say they are following the hearings very closely.

In addition to the 51%, another 19% think that Trump’s actions were wrong, but that he should either be impeached by the House but not removed from office, or be neither impeached by the House nor convicted by the Senate. The survey also finds that 1 in 4 Americans, 25%, think that Trump did nothing wrong.

Still, nearly 1 in 3, 32%, say they made up their minds about impeaching the president before the news broke about Trump’s July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in which Trump urged his Ukrainian counterpart to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.

That is after only one week of testimony, I can guarantee that the number of people calling for Trump’s impeachment will grow exponentially as these hearings proceed.

As for the low number of folks paying attention, that will definitly grow as well.

This is history in the making folks, we should all be riveted.

We live in an era where the United States president is a professed pussygrabber and powerful men raped teenaged girls and got away with it with that choked to death perv jeffrey epstien. We live in a world where Kim kardashian shaped the minds of millions of girls who are now women, and kanye was an example for the young guys. Its twilight zone in the United States. So many webs of lies that we will be in the tangle for generations to come. Yes, America is slow to the take because they have been conditioned to believe that Donald Trump could kill someone on 5th ave and get away with it. Even the democrats took a while to come around on this lying cheating bastard.

Trump and his Republican defenders have claimed that the Ukraine calls were about corruption, but corruption was never mentioned.

    Oops again

‘Smoking gun so hot it’s still on fire’: Ex-US Attorney astonished by text shown in Vindman testimony

The counsel for House Democrats then showed a text sent 30 minutes before Trump’s July 25 call to Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky, which shows the special envoy Kurt Volker dangling a White House visit to a Zelensky aide in exchange for an investigation.

“Good lunch — thanks. Heard from White House — assuming President Z convinces trump he will investigate / ‘get to the bottom of what happened’ in 2016, we will nail down date for visit to Washington. Good luck! See you tomorrow – kurt.”….

Trump is now in hot bribery waters over his attempt to strong arm Ukraine to push a conspiracy theory against the Bidens.

Goodman, a legal expert who is a Chaired Professor at NYU Law, pulled this section for a big reason. What this means is the demands Sondland made on behalf of Trump were explicit.

Schiff’s line of questions, and how he was able to get clear and compelling answers from Vindman that helped to tell the story of the case against Trump illustrated the difference between having a former prosecutor like Adam Schiff doing the questioning and bumbling clowns like GYM Jordan and Devin COW Nunes.

“The most grave threat to the life and health of our democracy comes from within, from a president without ethical compass, without an understanding of or devotion to our Constitution and the beautiful series of checks and balances it established,”

“We will send that charlatan in the White House back to the golden throne he came from.” The line was among the most enthusiastically received during the speech. “There is nothing more dangerous than an unethical president who believes he is above the law,”

“Two jail guards responsible for monitoring Jeffrey Epstein the night he killed himself were charged Tuesday with falsifying prison records to conceal they were sleeping and browsing the internet during the hours they were supposed to be keeping a close watch on prisoners.

Guards Toval Noel and Michael Thomas were accused in a grand jury indictment of neglecting their duties by failing to check on Epstein for nearly eight hours, and of fabricating log entries to show they had been making checks every 30 minutes, as required.”

I think this may be just the start.

“Two Manhattan prison guards who were supposed to be guarding Jeffrey Epstein when he killed himself back in August are now under arrest. The New York Times writes that they were taken into custody “on federal charges related to their alleged failure to check on him.”

The workers came under scrutiny shortly after Mr. Epstein’s death, because they were responsible for monitoring the high-security unit where Mr. Epstein, the disgraced financier who had previously been convicted of sex crimes, was being held.

Rather than checking on Mr. Epstein every half-hour as they were supposed to, the workers fell asleep for hours and falsified records to cover up what they had done, according to several officials with knowledge of the matter.

The AP reports that the guards were offered a plea deal, but turned it down.:

Epstein was placed on suicide watch after he was found July 23 on his cell floor with bruises on his neck. Multiple people familiar with operations at the jail have said Epstein was taken off suicide watch about a week before his death, meaning he was less closely monitored but still supposed to be checked on every 30 minutes.

Investigators believe those checks weren’t done for several hours before Epstein was discovered in his cell with a bedsheet around his neck, another person familiar with the matter told the AP.”

“In Short-Staffed Jail, Epstein Was Left Alone for Hours; Guard Was Substitute
Only one of the two people guarding Jeffrey Epstein normally worked as a correctional officer, according to three prison officials.”

” By a nearly 2-to-1 margin, more young voters support than oppose the impeachment of President Donald Trump and his removal from office, according to a new national poll released Monday by the Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School.

The poll, which isolated voters ages 18 to 29, found 52 percent of all eligible youth voters and 58 percent of likely youth voters in the 2020 presidential general election believe Trump should be impeached and removed from office.”

Of course, if you don’t vote, no one gives a damn about your opinion. So GO TO THE POLLS!
