He calls this television watching “Executive time.”

A White House source has leaked nearly every day of President Trump’s private schedule for the past three months.

This unusually voluminous leak gives us unprecedented visibility into how this president spends his days. The schedules, which cover nearly every working day since the midterms, show that Trump has spent around 60% of his scheduled time over the past 3 months in unstructured “Executive Time.”

Trump, an early riser, usually spends the first 5 hours of the day in Executive Time. Each day’s schedule places Trump in “Location: Oval Office” from 8 to 11 a.m.

But Trump, who often wakes before 6 a.m., is never in the Oval during those hours, according to six sources with direct knowledge.
Instead, he spends his mornings in the residence, watching TV, reading the papers, and responding to what he sees and reads by phoning aides, members of Congress, friends, administration officials and informal advisers.

Axios combined all of the schedules for these three months to finds that Trump spent 297 hours in “Executive time,” which stands for watching TV and talking on the phone, 77 hours in meetings, 51 hours traveling, 39 hours eating lunch, and a little over 38 hours at various events.

(You can actually read these leaked schedules for yourself by clicking here.)

In response to this story, the hashtag #ExecutiveTime started trending on Twitter, but there has only been limited pushback from the White House.

But that could be because Trump has been too busy to respond.

Look, I made a funny.

” Sanders< he “spends much of his average day in scheduled meetings, events, and calls.”

What he needs is 60% in time out.

Look at all the havoc he causes working only 30% of the time, I hate to think what kind of damage he could do if he worked more.

I liked Elyse Jordan’s (spelling) on Morning Joe that people have to dislike a boss to leak this. Also, another comment was to be extremely frustrated with him.
It appears to me Trump is self absorbed with his media image then the business of our nation and the world.

60% “executive time” is not enough. Can’t they get him to watch TV 100% of the time? Safer for all of us.

He’s a fat-assed lazy piece-of-shit bastard. I wish the mothfucker would just up and die and spare us the constant drama. 🙂

His funeral would be better attended than his inauguration.

I’d like to see daily schedules for President Obama side by side with some for Don the Con. President Obama not only worked a lot more but he took the intel daily briefings much more seriously and apparently spent a lot of evening time ready materials prepared for him so that he could ask the right questions the next day in meetings. When President Obama was in office, Don the Con was one of the ones accusing him of being lazy!

Good grief. Spellcheck got me today. I meant “reading” for “ready.”
