And he’s not the only one.

Jeremy Corbyn has declined an invitation to attend a state dinner with Donald Trump when the US president visits the UK in June.

Trump has accepted an invitation to a long-delayed state visit, including a formal white-tie dinner hosted by the Queen.

In a statement, the Labour leader said he disagreed with the prime minister’s decision to offer a formal visit to the US leader and confirmed he would not attend any state dinner.

“Theresa May should not be rolling out the red carpet for a state visit to honor a president who rips up vital international treaties, backs climate change denial and uses racist and misogynist rhetoric,” said Corbyn.

“Maintaining an important relationship with the United States does not require the pomp and ceremony of a state visit. It is disappointing that the prime minister has again opted to kowtow to this US administration.”

However, Corbyn reiterated his invitation to hold discussions with Trump – an offer that is unlikely to be taken up. “I would welcome a meeting with President Trump to discuss all matters of interest,” he said.

Corbyn is not alone in skipping this dinner, the Commons Speaker, John Bercow, and the Liberal Democrat leader, Sir Vince Cable are also washing their hair that night.

However, all is not lost as it appears that an old friend of Trump’s will be making an appearance.

Donald Trump is coming back to London — and so is the “Trump Baby” blimp. A 20-foot-tall balloon depicting the United States President as a wailing baby in a nappy will fly over London again during his upcoming state visit in June, protesters have confirmed.

Organizers are also looking at ways to scale up their protest — having decided against raising funds for an even bigger hot air balloon.

“The original Trump baby blimp will definitely be back,” Leo Murray, one of its creators, told CNN. “We are looking at other creative interventions we could make,” Murray added. “We’d looked into commissioning a bigger balloon, including getting quotes for hot air balloons — but decided against it as it’s so expensive.”

Yep, the Trump baby blimp is even bigger and more orange than before.

Just like Trump.
