It looks like Trump’s Space Force may never get off the ground.

Is anybody really surprised by this?

Courtesy of Politico:

Republican Reps. Steve Knight of California and Mike Coffman of Colorado would appear the ideal champions of a new military branch focused on space.

Three of Knight’s top five donors are aerospace giants Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and Honeywell, which would be well-positioned to help build and outfit it. And Coffman’s district is an epicenter of the military’s current space operations.

Instead, the pair is leading the rebellion to President Donald Trump’s Space Force.

The anti-Space Force movement — which includes generals and Republican and Democratic lawmakers — fears that carving the new branch out of the Air Force would siphon resources from other defense programs, strip them of authority or even weaken the military. They include lawmakers who serve on committees with direct jurisdiction over the issue — such as Knight and Coffman, who both sit on the House Armed Services panel.

They pose a potentially fatal danger to the president’s proposal, which needs Congress to overcome a host of financial and logistical obstacles to carry out what would be the most sweeping U.S. military reorganization since the creation of the Air Force out of the Army Air Forces in 1947.

No border wall, no space force, no giant military parade, it’s like Trump’s entire Christmas list is being completely ignored.

Oh well, he can still look forward to a shiny new impeachment possibly heading his way just in time for the holidays.

Although it would mean nothing to Don the Con, there are international agreements that ban the use of space for military ends.

You can bet Kavenaughty and his fellow boys will be boys cult can remember every football play played in HS.
I would have more respect for kavenaughty if he used this time to say how alcohol can effect your judgement and decisions. It is a perfect time to stop the continued abuse by some men and the lies of this disgraceful liar that nominated him. Every woman, man and child abused by trump and associates REMEMBERS every second of the abuse yesterday, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 yrs ago. The abused remember the abuse. And 15 women have lined up to tell their story of trump.

“Some of the hard work is taking place right now,” Trump said. “Even though it’s nice and beautiful and sunny.” Trump said the flooding is “epic” and “hard to believe.”

Trump then thanked Republicans in attendance, who he described as “great friends of mine,” including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a golf buddy of Trump’s who represents South Carolina.

“Lindsey?” Trump said, looking around for Graham and chucking. “Oh, look at Lindsey! Lindsey, do you want to pull up a chair? What happened to you?”

Trump vowed to make things “perfect” in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.

“The money is going to be a lot, but it’s going to come as fast as you need it,” Trump said. “We’ll take care of everybody.”<RiiiggghhhttT

FB>”Fearless Leader Trump reportedly told the CIA to make the bombs used in drone strikes “silent.”
So the enemy couldn’t hear us coming.
Literally, Trump wants the Hush-a-Bomb from Rocky and Bullwinkle.
As amusing as this would be under other circumstances, this is the point where I remind you that this cartoon idiot is in charge of the nuclear weapons.

“The agency, along with the U.S. military, primarily conducts drone attacks in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Yemen, but earlier this month The New York Times reported that the CIA was broadening its drone strike operations in Africa.

The CIA is reportedly moving aircraft to Niger in order to conduct drone strikes against al Qaeda and Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) fighters in Libya.

The Pentagon has already carried out five drone strikes against ISIS militants in Libya this year. “

Putin’s puppet. don’t forget that. The Russian mafia owns us and we all will sleep well thinking we are in good hands while Trump and the crooks in the top prepare to offer us and our lands as a sacrificial offering to the bald headed god in Russia.

The Air Force (who is currently responsible for space) puts the price tag and, I think, $14 BILLION just to start to separate this “space force” from the rest of the current military branches that cover space.

This is going to go the way of Trump’s Wall. By now everyone should have heard that every prototype that was built failed it’s security test. They were all breached. One so much so it was deemed structurally a failure.
