Roger Stone has been indicted by a grand jury on charges brought by special counsel Robert Mueller, who alleges that the longtime Donald Trump associate sought stolen emails from WikiLeaks that could damage Trump’s opponents while in coordination with senior Trump campaign officials.

The indictment’s wording does not say who on the campaign knew about Stone’s quest, but makes clear it was multiple people. This is the first time prosecutors have alleged they know of additional people close to the President who worked with Stone as he sought out WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

“After the July 22, 2016, release of stolen (Democratic National Committee) emails by Organization 1, a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact STONE about any additional releases and what other damaging information Organization 1 had regarding the Clinton Campaign. STONE thereafter told the Trump Campaign about potential future releases of damaging material by Organization 1,” prosecutors wrote.

The indictment also says: “During the summer of 2016, STONE spoke to senior Trump Campaign officials about Organization 1 and information it might have had that would be damaging to the Clinton Campaign. STONE was contacted by senior Trump Campaign officials to inquire about future releases by Organization 1.”

Stone was arrested by the FBI Friday morning at his home in Florida, his lawyer tells CNN. He was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia on seven counts, including one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, five counts of false statements, and one count of witness tampering.

The FBI also executed a search warrant at Stone’s New York residence, according to Kristin Davis who shares the duplex with Stone.

Organization 1 is identified as Wikileaks and at least one of the “senior Trump campaign officials” is Steve Bannon.

What is still not totally clear is who directed the senior campaign officials to seek Stone out and request his help in getting information from Wikileaks that would hurt Clinton and help Trump’s campaign.

It’s not “totally clear,” but I bet you can guess.

It is not just the collusion thing, they also have Stone on perjury charges and attempts to tamper with at least one witness:

Stone was also indicted on a witness tampering charge for his alleged attempts to sway Credico’s story before he testified to Congress — even tapping into language from mob movies and citing disgraced President Richard Nixon, who Stone once worked for.

Over text message, Stone told Credico, “‘Stonewall it. Plead the fifth. Anything to save the plan’ … Richard Nixon,” prosecutors said. Stone warned Credico he would get “indicted for perjury” because he could contradict Stone’s testimony. “And if you turned over anything to the FBI you’re a fool,” Stone told Credico later via text.

Multiple times, Stone told him to do a “Frank Pentangeli,” a reference to a “The Godfather: Part II” character who was a former Corleone ally who later feigns innocence to Congress before killing himself.

He also called him “a rat” and a “stoolie,” prosecutors say. He threatened to take away Credico’s dog — a fluffy white therapy pet named Bianca who even later went with Credico into his grand jury appearance — and told him “Prepare to die [expletive],” prosecutors wrote.

Credico pleaded the Fifth Amendment and did not answer questions in a House Intelligence Committee interview.

Yep, that sounds like witness tampering to me.

Of course Sarah “I see NOTHING!” Sanders says this has nothing to do with Trump.

So who do we think it next?

My money is on Donald Trump Jr.

Boy, won’t that be a lot of fun?

Update: Here was Trump’s response to this news this morning.

Damn, you can almost feel the panic.

Judge releases Stone on $250,000 bond
    From CNN’s Nick Valencia
The hearing for Roger Stone just wrapped up.

This was an identity hearing to confirm he is Roger Stone before he is released by US marshals on $250,000 signature bond.
That means he doesn’t have to put any money on the bond so long as he continues to appear before the court when required.

When asked by the judge to turn in his passport, Stone said, “I do not have a valid passport, it is expired.”

Stone has to submit to substance abuse testing as part of what was agreed to in pre-trial. And he will be allowed to go to any medical visits with the doctor he is currently seeing.

When the judge read the bond instructions he said, “I understand your honor.”

When asked if he wanted to waive removal he said, “yes your honor.”

Stone was shackled around his waist and ankles. “

The judge should have made him SHOW that his passport has expired, after all we are talking about someone that has committed perjury several times.

It submitting to substance abuse testing normal procedure in this type of case or is Roger Stone a stoner?

    • Anonymous January 26, 2019 at 10:14 pm

$250,000 bond and he didn’t even have to put up the money? That’s spit in a bucket for Stone. They should have made it a million.

Expired passport? I wouldn’t take this liar at his word. Make him prove it. Check to see if there is a valid passport on file for him. Oh, that’s right. The government is shut down so there is no one to check.

Mueller has broken Trump’s brain down to its most basic level

“Trump can’t offer any explanation for the Russia scandal that is based in fact because he is guilty.

Robert Mueller has connected Trump’s friend and advisor to crimes committed to benefit Trump, and the president’s response has been to completely break into pieces.

Donald Trump is falling apart, and the collapse is visible in 280 characters or less.”

“with manafort giving internal polls to russians we are so past collusion …trump and fox need to move those goal posts to wheres the criminal conspiracy?..i think they will have that one soon so they will move it to..wheres the treason?”

“Who will watch Fox & Friends when the only viewer they care about is in jail??”

“[They’re] in essence trying to criminalize criminal activity!” Stone claimed. “I’m innocent, the whole Russia collusion investigation is a distraction from the real crimes of the Clintons and the Obamas. I need people’s help more than ever… I need folks to go to They project my legal costs to be $2 million!”

After Stone made his plea, Jones abruptly hijacked his fundraising pitch and said that InfoWars is in dire need of more money given all of the money it has to pay out to cover its legal expenses related to things like the defamation suit filed by parents of children who were killed in the Sandy Hook massacre.

“They’re cutting us off because we were popular, because we were growing and expanding!” Jones said. “So yes,,, go get products! And yes, Roger, people need to commit now!”

“Corsi, ‘Person 1’ in Roger Stone indictment, says he’s done nothing wrong
(Reuters) – Jerome Corsi, a right-wing political commentator, confirmed on Friday that he is “Person 1” cited in the indictment of Roger Stone and said that he no longer believed he would be charged as part of the U.S. special counsel’s Russia probe.

“I can confirm everything they report in the indictment about ‘Person 1’,” Corsi told Reuters. “I don’t see that I am being charged with any wrongdoing of any kind. I think that’s appropriate because I’ve done nothing wrong.”
Stone, a self-proclaimed Republican “dirty trickster” and ally of U.S. President Donald Trump for 40 years, was arrested on Friday on charges of lying to Congress about the release of stolen Democratic Party emails during the 2016 campaign.”

““Who alerted CNN to be there?””

“an FBI team largely made up of furloughed agents who volunteered for duty without pay arrested Stone at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in conjunction with a federal indictment filed by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Stone’s arrest didn’t come as much of a surprise, considering that he has been a central figure in Mueller’s ongoing investigation of potential Russian interference in the 2016 election. But it did feature one unique attribute: It was captured by CNN’s news cameras.”

“the only thing CNN was guilty of was good journalism practices.”
“According to Shortell, unusual grand jury activity in Washington, D.C. the day before, coupled with months of reporting on the Russia investigation and a relatively short list of possible suspects who could be facing criminal charges, was enough for CNN journalists to instinctively send a crew to Stone’s house just in case he was the target.”

Little donnie caved and is opening the government for a whopping 3weeks…NO MONEY FOR HIS DAMN WALL.!!!
He snorted throughout his speech and yakked about the great Americans that worked without complaint…guess he doesn’t look out the windows of the WH to see the protestors!

Didn’t bother to listen to the rest of his lies, not sure if he mentioned no $ for about it elsewhere.

GO DEMOCRATS…2019 is going to be a nightmare for the traitor in the WH!

    • $$$ talks January 25, 2019 at 7:41 pm

Someone commented on IM that they should sell portions of the ‘wall’ to advertisers. Joked to put Nike on the other side facing Mexico that says ‘Just Do It’. Not a bad idea. Look how much money advertisers pay for ads in the NFL games and other sports. They would be fighting to advertise on the wall Trump goes on and on about. And it will give the USA enough money to build it and monitor it. Never ending $$$. I would lease the portions of the wall and not sell them. Attach a billboard to the wall for advertisers as well. But overall a great idea to a stalemate in Washington DC.

P.S. Everyone I have talked to about this liked it and said ‘well why the hell didn’t Trump come up with that idea in the first place”. I shrugged. I don’t know I told them.

Donald be the last domino. Lets go over the long list of things trump gave to putin. Notice the US now going against putins pick for the venezuelan el presidente. Wonder how trumps handler will deal with that?

  11. Anonymous January 25, 2019 at 12:01 pm

And when more arrests are made they should throw in huckabee sanders for enabling a monster like trump. Surely that is a crime!

      “admit nothing, deny everything,”
“the indictment does leave out a crucial matter: how Stone actively assisted the Russian assault on the 2016 election?

After the cyber-swiped Democratic Party emails were dumped by WikiLeaks in mid-July 2016 at the start of the Democratic National Convention, Stone publicly noted what many others had concluded: that the Russians had probably engineered this attack, with the likely intent of helping Trump.” ” Trump even called on Russian hackers to target Hillary Clinton.”
“Stone went further than spouting Moscow’s line: He collaborated with the Russians. On Twitter, he hailed Guccifer 2.0 as a “HERO.”
(He also called WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange a “hero.”) And in mid-August, in a private Twitter message, Stone asked Guccifer 2.0 to promote a column he had written. Guccifer 2.0 replied: “i’m pleased to say that u r great man. Please tell me if I can help u anyhow. It would be a great pleasure to me.”
“He was doing what he could to legitimize Guccifer 2.0 and spare Russia blame for its cyberwarfare aimed to hurt Clinton and boost Trump. Consequently, Stone was aiding and abetting Putin’s plot against America.”

  12. Anonymous January 25, 2019 at 3:56 pm

Gosh he worked with Nixon, let’s hope there is a pattern here.

Also trump and stone have been best buddies for decades, so it will be a little hard for donnie to say he doesn’t know him or he only worked for him for a couple of months.

We keep going back to the fact the media didn’t do their job in 2016

Roger Stone indictment exposes how the media was manipulated into questioning Clinton’s health

…..But in fact, reading this indictment is a sobering reminder of how terribly the mainstream media performed in 2016. Stone’s deep involvement in the Trump campaign should have been a major, front-page story in itself. Stone has been a self-proclaimed dirty trickster and full-blown monster his entire adult life. He was fired from Sen. Bob Dole’s office in 1973 for his part in the Watergate conspiracy. He worked directly for Trump to lobby against Native American casinos in the ’90s. He helped orchestrated the “Brooks Brothers riot to shut down vote counting in Florida after the disputed 2000 presidential election. And that’s not even touching on Stone’s tendency to use racist slurs and call women, including Hillary Clinton, names like “cunt.”….

…..Instead of asking hard questions about Trump’s relationship with a sleazy figure like Stone, and exposing Trump’s lengthy history of associating with some of the worst people on the planet, the media instead treated Stone like an assignment editor, who largely dictated their coverage of Clinton. Stone may be in handcuffs now, but most of journalists he fed and manipulated in 2016 will evade any responsibility for their failure to do their jobs.

  14. anon January 25, 2019 at 9:46 pm

Hillary better press her pantsuits and get her hair done – she’s about to be sworn in as 46 when mueller announces the ’16 election results were completely tampered with.

  15. Anon January 26, 2019 at 5:16 am

Swinging Stone should not be released. He should sit his flat azz in jail. Several charges were left out and many more should join him. He is a gross pathetic ugly slob, a real pen head and nut.
