You know I thought Sarah Palin was a horrible governor, and she was, but this guy really raised the bar.

Courtesy of KTUU:

In a press release, the Recall Dunleavy campaign said that the first day of signature gathering “exceeds expectations” by gathering over 10,000 signatures in nine hours.

The group says that it gathered signatures in about twenty communities.

“One of the biggest stars was the community of Yakutat who garnered signatures from 30% of the registered voter population on the first day at Mallott’s General Store,” Meda DeWitt, the chair of the campaign said in a press release.

The release also says that the campaign raised over $13,000 in small donations in the first 24 hours.

The petition still needs many thousands of signatures but I feel confident that we will get them without too much difficulty.

Dunleavy is a special kind of asshole and it is well past time for him to go.

The trouble is that Alaska has any number of assholes to replace him with.

Jesse, I don’t see anything to click on that will get me to the petition. Can you provide that link, please?

Okay, I figured it out. You click on the word “here” to get “there”. Maybe you could highlight it in blue or something.

I would if I could but this format will not let me do that.

      Sorry for the inconvenience.

If the college scholarship cuts stand, thousands of Alaskans will leave Alaska for schooling in other states, many never to return. But republicans like an uneducated society: it is easier to fool uneducated people. In addition, surveys have shown that the more educated you are, the more likely you are to vote for democrats. (Note that I am not saying that formal education is the only way to become intelligent. I know many people who are smart but do not have college degrees. There are many ways to get educated.)

    Alaska is a beautiful state.

But ugly as shit when it comes to the likes of Sarah Palin. Jesus knows, Sarah. Jesus sees you and knows.

$arah screwed a lot of folks. I can tell by your comments, you are one of them. What goes around comes around for ol $arah. Now she is bellowing in her bourbon, with a side of pills for pain. Could have done things right, but she has been ‘brainwashed’ and it can’t be reversed. She’s baked.

Gryph, I believe the bar to be lowered.
