I don’t think I have ever wanted to see anybody trampled by elephants as much as I want to see these men trampled by elephants.

Courtesy of The Daily Mail:

This is the moment the tables turned on two hunters, who found themselves under attack from a herd of elephants after they shot one of the bulls.

Video footage shows two men armed with rifles trying to sneak up on the herd of elephants in Namibia.

They are seen aiming at the elephant herd from a distance, with one of them telling the other ‘hit it between the eyes’.

They both fire and appear to hit one of the bulls in the herd, causing it to stumble while the other elephants panic.

However, within seconds, the men are forced to scramble for safety as the herd of elephants turn on them and a large bull charges at them.

Actually, now that I think about it I don’t think I have EVER wanted to see anybody trampled by elephants.

However, my statement still stands.

Anybody who would murder such magnificent creatures deserves to die under their massive feet.

I hunt, I hunt for food, love the taste of game, white tail, game birds and its healthy meat. I also hunt wild hogs, they are non native to the environments they are in and actually displace/destroy habitat. BTW be extra careful of rattlers in areas with high feral hog population, you will no longer get that rattle as notice if you get too close……you might wonder why, its because the hogs hear it and kill and eat them, one small bit of evolving means no more warning for anyone or anything else.

That said, what these men aren’t doing is hunting, they only want the trophy to bring back the meat will rot. Expect more USA trophy hunters to pay for legal and illegal hunts abroad since Trump changed the law and they can now once again import all their horror trophies back into the USA.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with hunting as long as you do it legally, humanely, and you actually eat (or donate) what you kill. Deer are a renewable resource, even a nuisance in many places, so no reason not to hunt them for meat. I don’t hunt and abhor guns, but I’m not opposed to hunting for food. Shooting an elephant for “sport,” though? Deplorable.

Isn’t it illegal to kill elephants? I know Don the Con ended the ban on importing ivory but really.

The ban on importing Ivory has been in place decades before Don the Con plopped his farty butt in the oval office.

But he did eliminate all of the restrictions on importing elephant, lion, etc. parts that Obama put in place. Naturally. Of course it has nothing to do with his son’s teenie ZiZis and their desire to get a short hard on by slaughtering some innocent animal for their tail.

I saw this yesterday and couldn’t get it out of my mind.

I’m not a violent person, but I think if I came across either of these men, I’d want to shoot them and leave them to bleed out in a slow and painful death.

Didn’t watch it. I couldn’t stand to see the bull being shot, but I would have watched it if the herd trampled the cowardly hunters.

Neither man looks to be in good physical condition. It would have been funny if they both suffered heart attacks, and their guide says “fuck this” and takes off, leaving the men to slowly die in the heat, being eaten by vultures. I’m not a cruel man, but I have zero sympathy for trophy hunters.

This was meant for one of these idiots – from Gary Larson’s old comic strip, The Far Side:

Remember the lions that ate the poachers?

Maybe they’re networking with the elephants. Can’t wait until word spreads to the rhinos and the giraffes.
