How to change an Alaskan’s mind about guns.

I think we are all glad that this woman’s child was unhurt, as well as both she and her husband.

I would imagine that if anybody was almost killed by a gun discharging accidentally that it would give them a new insight into gun control policies in this country.

However, the sad fact is that quite often the accidental shooting which impacts a person’s life also takes that life or the life of one of their loved ones.

Simply put guns do NOT keep us safe, and the more guns we have in our communities the less safe they are.

There is at least one Alaskan resident who now understands that completely.

“New York State Rifle in other words, is a huge case because it concerns a tiny i$$ue. If the Supreme Court is willing to declare that even very minor burdens on gun owners violate the Constitution, then it is unclear what can still be done to prevent gun violence.”

“[Kids are] going to continue being more rebellious, more mocking, more arrogant, more prideful. You see, it’s never enough,” Shelley lamented.
“They just want to keep mocking their parents and disobeying their parents. You’ve got to squash out the rebellion in your child.”
“You know how you could squash rebellion in a public school today?” he asked rhetorically. “Take the rebellious one out and stone him. I bet they’d shape up pretty quick. I bet they’d figure out, ‘Maybe I should hearken under the authorities in my life.’ And we see, unfortunately, our society is continually destroying itself, because [all of these] rebellious, arrogant, prideful teenage jerks that just don’t want to hearken to their parents, you know, and God said they should be put to death.”
“The guy that’s the lazy gamer, ‘I don’t want to get a job. I just want to play video games all day and drink alcohol with my buddies,’? That guy should be put to death,”

Yeah. The guys who own guns are usually assholes. Theres a faction of folks here in alaska who like to tote those things around. For the men i think guns are an extention of a certain body part. For the women? I always think those women with the long hair and denim skirts are part of that we are better than yall and plus being under the strict influence of their godly men they gotta tote too.
