GOP Senator Chuck Grassley gets pissy when confronted by a constituent about his votes to repeal Obamacare.

Do you see him getting right in her face?

“It won’t get repealed it’s the law of the land, so what are you so worried about?”

She’s fucking worried she is going to die, that’s what she is so worried about.

Like all US senators, Chuck Grassley has great health care delivered by some of the best doctors in the country.

He has NO idea what it is like for the rest of us to worry about how we will survive if the ACA is repealed or so damaged by the Trump Administration that it is rendered unworkable.

It is well past time for Chuck Grassley to be sent packing.

“In a 2018 Gallup poll on confidence in U.S. institutions, Congress—the branch of government that is supposed to best represent the will of the American people, and the branch with the power to impeach corrupt presidents and judges—came in rock bottom.”

“the Constitution the founders crafted was designed to secure economic power for themselves, and that economic power has been the ultimate foundation of political power for all of human history. Political power ultimately resides with those who control our access to a means of living.”

“Economic power is—and always has been—the foundation of political power. Those who control the peoples’ means of living rule.”
“HR1 has no chance of becoming law until at least after the 2020 election. ”
“We stand at an epic choice point for our nation and for humanity. The plutocracy now in place has put us on a path to self-extinction—a future with no winners, rich or poor. We must now seek a path that restores the health of Earth’s regenerative systems while securing equity, material sufficiency, peace, and spiritual abundance for all—exactly the opposite of the plutocrats’ drive to secure the power, privilege, and material excess for themselves. This makes democracy far more than just a good idea; it is now an imperative.”

“Getting pissy” is the perfect description of how Grassley reacted. At every opportunity, constituents need to face their GOP senators and representatives and “speak truth to power.” And then those encounters need to go viral — all the way to the ballot box. It will be the only way to defeat them.

Doesn’t Grassley have a challenger? Can’t remember if it’s a primary or a Democrat. But hopefully his Grassley will be Assley.
