Full statement from Yale classmate of Brett Kavanaugh saying he lied during Senate testimony.

The following is a statement from Chad Ludington, a Yale classmate of Kavanaugh’s courtesy of CNN:

I have been contacted by numerous reporters about Brett Kavanaugh and have not wanted to say anything because I had nothing to contribute about what kind of Justice he would be. I knew Brett at Yale because I was a classmate and a varsity basketball player and Brett enjoyed socializing with athletes. Indeed, athletes formed the core of Brett’s social circle.

In recent days I have become deeply troubled by what has been a blatant mischaracterization by Brett himself of his drinking at Yale. When I watched Brett and his wife being interviewed on Fox News on Monday, and when I watched Brett deliver his testimony under oath to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, I cringed. For the fact is, at Yale, and I can speak to no other times, Brett was a frequent drinker, and a heavy drinker. I know, because, especially in our first two years of college, I often drank with him. On many occasions I heard Brett slur his words and saw him staggering from alcohol consumption, not all of which was beer. When Brett got drunk, he was often belligerent and aggressive. On one of the last occasions I purposely socialized with Brett, I witnessed him respond to a semi-hostile remark, not by defusing the situation, but by throwing his beer in the man’s face and starting a fight that ended with one of our mutual friends in jail.

I do not believe that the heavy drinking or even loutish behavior of an 18 or even 21-year-old should condemn a person for the rest of his life. I would be a hypocrite to think so. However, I have direct and repeated knowledge about his drinking and his disposition while drunk. And I do believe that Brett’s actions as a 53-year-old federal judge matter. If he lied about his past actions on national television, and more especially while speaking under oath in front of the United States Senate, I believe those lies should have consequences. It is truth that is at stake, and I believe that the ability to speak the truth, even when it does not reflect well upon oneself, is a paramount quality we seek in our nation’s most powerful judges.

I can unequivocally say that in denying the possibility that he ever blacked out from drinking, and in downplaying the degree and frequency of his drinking, Brett has not told the truth.

I felt it was my civic duty to tell of my experience while drinking with Brett, and I offer this statement to the press. I have no desire to speak further publicly, and nothing more to say to the press at this time. I will however, take my information to the FBI.

And just in case you do not think all of this matters, it does.

Remember it only takes like one or two Republicans refusing to vote yes on this nomination to kill it.

I think it would be even greater if the lying about the definitions of boofing, devil’s triangle and whatever the third thing was is what gets him DQed.

“McCONnell is making it clear that he doesn’t care if Brett Kavanaugh is a sexual predator, he wants the fifth conservative vote on the Supreme Court. McConnell referred to the FBI investigation as both McCarthyism and obstruction. It is neither. The investigation is part of the fact-finding and vetting process that Senate Republicans have ignored due to their rush to get a Supreme Court justice confirmed before they potentially lose the Senate next month.”

““I can tell you that I watched that hearing, and I watched the man saying that he did have difficulty as a young man with drink.”

Trump either didn’t watch the hearing or wasn’t paying attention, because Brett Kavanaugh never said that he had difficulty with drink. “

““I screamed into his hand. Kavanaugh continued his forcing himself on me,” the source continued. “He pulled up my sweater and bra exposing my breasts, and reached into my panties, inserting his fingers into my vagina. My screams were silenced by the boy in the backseat covering my mouth and groping me as well.”

The accuser then said that Kavanaugh slapped her and told her to be quiet before forcing her to perform oral sex on him.

“He climaxed in my mouth. They forced me to go into the backseat and took turns raping me several times each,” the source said. “They dropped me off two blocks from my home. ‘No one will believe if you tell. Be a good girl,’ he told me.”

Text messages reveal Kavanaugh worked with friends trying to discredit Deborah Ramirez with photo

Brett Kavanaugh reportedly sought a photo of him and Deborah Ramirez from a wedding, where she spent the event trying to avoid him.

According to NBC News, the days leading up to the public allegations against Kavanaugh, the judge and his team reached out to former classmates asking for help in refuting claims from one of his accusers.

“Kerry Berchem, who was at Yale with both Kavanaugh and his accuser, Deborah Ramirez, has attempted to get those messages to the FBI for its newly reopened investigation into the matter but says she has yet to be contacted by the bureau,” NBC wrote.

The messages are between Berchem and Karen Yarasavage, both of who know Kavanaugh. The texts suggest Kavanaugh was trying to talk to them about her story before the New Yorker article dropped. One message from Yarasavage said Kavanaugh asked her to come out for him publicly.

Kavanaugh specifically asked about the photo and Berchem said that she remembers Ramirez being clingy during the wedding and going out of her way to avoid Kavanaugh. She said she never understood why.

“I understand that President Trump and the U.S. Senate have ordered an FBI investigation into certain allegations of sexual misconduct by the nominee Brett Kavanaugh,” Berchem said in a statement. “I have no direct or indirect knowledge about any of the allegations against him. However, I am in receipt of text messages from a mutual friend of both Debbie and mine that raise questions related to the allegations. I have not drawn any conclusions as to what the texts may mean or may not mean but I do believe they merit investigation by the FBI and the Senate.”

Oops, little donnie tells the truth about Brett !!!! Is that why they don’t want the FBI to investigate his drinking?
Trump Goes Off The Rails And Calls Brett Kavanaugh A Drunk

During comments in the Rose Garden, Trump claimed that Brett Kavanaugh said that he struggled with alcohol, but Kavanaugh never said that.

Trump said, “I can tell you that I watched that hearing, and I watched the man saying that he did have difficulty as a young man with drink.

Please read the below. It is outrageous that my client has not been contacted by the FBI because Trump is instructing them not to. He is trying to ram through a nomination by purposely preventing the truth from being known. This is a threat to our very democracy. #Sham #Basta

” he has arranged for NBC News’ Kate Snow to interview Swetnick. “

    • Anonymous October 1, 2018 at 7:33 pm

““I could hear them laughing and laughing,” she added, echoing comments made by Dr. Ford last Thursday. “It’s very hard for me to talk about this, but it’s important that somebody says something, because if Brett Kavanaugh was one of those people that did this to me, there is no way in the world that he should go scot-free on this, and that he should be on the Supreme Court. It’s just unthinkable to me.
If he does, there’s NO JUSTICE IN THE WORLD.” “My body was violated, my soul was broken. I was not able to have somebody stop when I said, ‘No, stop.’ I felt like somebody took me and basically said, ‘You’re worthless. You are nothing to us. You are disposable.’”
“She did, however, say she ran into Kavanaugh the next year at “Beach Week” in Ocean City. “And it crushed me,” she said. “I fell apart. And I had to get out of there.”

“My client Julie Swetnick has offered to take a polygraph test, meet with the FBI and be cross examined by Kavanaugh’s lawyers,” Avenatti tweeted after the interview aired. “He has refused to do the same. All of these women cannot be lying. And women who are lying do not push to meet with the FBI. Why the coverup by Trump?””

Gosh, like his $200,00 debt mysteriously disappearing, his ABA standing was upgraded only 30 days ago !!!

Kavanaugh was downgraded by the ABA in 2006. All of the sudden became qualified Aug, 31, 2018…
…..After downgrading Kav in May 2006 for inexperience and bias, the ABA did not award the “Gold Standard” again until Aug 31, 2018. It took 5 phone calls to the ABA to verify this information but DC office confirmed.

This is “the wife”. First let me say that I did not fully understand the ABA rating process this morning nor was it explained to me when I called the ABA. That said, until August 31 of this year, leading from the time he was appointed to the Fed bench in 2006 Kav’s judicial rating was “qualified” which is the mid range between well qualified and not qualified. He then was upgraded last month during the nom process. The reason he was not rated well qualified in 2006 was bias and lack of experience. He was never a defender, prosecutor or litigator in practice but does have an extensive history as a Republican operative during both the Clinton and Bush presidencies including the Starr investigation, Brooks Bro Riot and Torture Memos. I feel a little silly now that I understand the process better but what this means is Kav would have gone his entire career with only a middle range rating unless he was nominated for SCOTUS, For me the question remains why he was a last minute add, with an unremarkable record at the same time he expressed extreme views on presidential power, abortion, access to birth control and torture.

As to the person I spoke to…most likely an admin answering phones. I was told on three separate calls that the information was not available. I called all the various numbers listed for the ABA. I was told to send an email to the Governmental Affairs general mail box. On the 4th call it was suggested that I call his local State Bar. On the last call, this time to the Legal Department, I was put on hold and then was told that, per an internal email, Kav was upgraded to well qualified on Aug 31, 2018. So unlike what was repeated numerous times during the hearing and elsewhere, not the Gold Standard until 30 days ago. Then, as we know, the President of the ABA wrote a letter withholding Endorsement until an investigation was called to address the new allegations. To be clear the letter was from the President of the ABA not the Standing Committee of the Fed Judiciary that rates Federal Judges and who gave the rating of Well Qualified on Aug.31, 2018. Below is the link to the Washington Post article re downgrade

And Brett Kavanaugh stated under oath that he first heard about Deborah Ramirez’s assertions when the New Yorker article dropped. Yet he had his friends try to contact others regarding Ramirez before the article dropped. Texts prove that. Another lie from Trump’s favorite Choir Boy.

Swetnick did name an officer she spoke with but he has since died. Montgomery County officials said it could take up to a month for them to locate the records.

    LIE 15
Kavanaugh argued that “none of those gatherings included the group of people that Dr. Ford has identified.”
A July 1 calendar entry included the exact group of people that Dr. Blasey Ford said attended the gathering.

    LIE 22
When Sen. Whitehouse asked Kavanaugh how do you pronounce “boofed,” Kavanaugh stated that it referred “to flatulence. We were 16.”
As the New York Times reported, “‘Boofed’ in the 1980s was a term that often referred to anal sex, and that is how Judge Kavanaugh’s classmates said they interpreted his comment. They said they had never heard it used to refer to flatulence.”

    LIE 26
Kavanaugh claimed to have ““no connections” to Yale, explaining that “I got there by busting my tail.”
In fact, Kavanaugh’s grandfather attended the school and Kavanaugh would be classified as a legacy student.

    LIE 29
Sen. Kamala Harris asked Kavanaugh if he had watched Ford’s testimony and Kavanaugh responded, “I did not. I plan to, I plan to, but I did not, I was preparing mine.”
A committee aide told The Wall Street Journal that Kavanaugh was watching Ford testify from a monitor in another room in the Dirksen Senate Building.

    I love Ted Lieu.

“There are many other judges the president could nominate that would have a better temperament, that did not lie under oath and are not so fully partisan.”

“A Supreme Court justice is not supposed to be a mouthpiece for Donald Trump.”

I am sy disappointed he can’t run for president.
