Great, a choice between two evils.

Conservative firebrand former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh announced Sunday in an exclusive interview with ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” that he’s launching a long-shot Republican presidential primary challenge against President Donald Trump.

“I’m going to run for president,” Walsh told Stephanopoulos on Sunday in an exclusive interview.

The former Illinois congressman-turned-radio host was once a fervent Trump supporter who’s become a fierce critic of the president. Walsh is just the second Republican to jump into the primary behind former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld, who announced back in April but has yet to gain serious traction.

Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh told ABC News a dismissive one-word response to Walsh jumping into the race: “Whatever.”

I think that “whatever” response is going to be echoed by just about everybody who hears about this campaign.

Joe Walsh is a terrible person in his own right who attacked President Obama as a Muslim, challenged his birth certificate, used racials epithets on his Twitter account, and was a member in good standing with the Tea Party movement which caused much of the damage to the Republican party that allowed a Donald Trup to win its presidential nomination in the first place.

However if his campaign is going to focus on attacking and undermining Trump’s campaign in the primaries, I welcome his participation.

Maybe that’s my problem. I expect a certain decorum and maturity out of “leaders,” not the school yard bully smack that now has become status quo.
Excuse me, but putting prayer back in schools isn’t going to fix anything.

Me, I’m just waiting for October when, according to “family” poster, $arah attempts her yuuuge comeback whatever it is.
As my Dad used to say at the start of a cribbage game, “come out and get chewed.”

A primary challenger within the GOP is fantastic news! Even if he is nearly as terrible as Trump, it doesn’t matter. Getting a serious challenger within the GOP is one of the best ways to beat him in the 2020 election. Look at history, all modern sitting Presidents who lost their re-election had a primary challenger within their own party. It weakens them and puts the party in disarray, making it easier for their opponent.

    Run Joe Walsh, run!

This will not end well for Walsh. AKA deadbeat dad. Serial tax cheat. one term wonder in Congress.
    Watch how this plays out.

Exactly, and the louder they scream the more I think they’re a moron.

Good. The more the merrier. Two so far. We need a few more to let the GOP know that they can still save their party by offering an alternative to their Nazi White Supremacist Traitor.

“Needless to say, it’s the first time in my entire career that I’ve been hired to run a campaign and then been completely ghosted by the candidate,”
