Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says he had to repeatedly tell Trump he cannot do things that violate the law.

The fired secretary of state, who while in office reportedly called Trump a “moron” (and declined to deny it), expounded on his thoughts on the president in a rare interview with CBS News’s Bob Schieffer in Houston.

It wasn’t difficult to read between the lines. Tillerson said Trump is “pretty undisciplined, doesn’t like to read,” and repeatedly attempted to do illegal things. He didn’t call Trump a “moron,” but he didn’t exactly suggest Trump was a scholar — or even just a steady leader.

“What was challenging for me coming from the disciplined, highly process-oriented Exxon Mobil Corporation,” Tillerson said, was “to go to work for a man who is pretty undisciplined, doesn’t like to read, doesn’t read briefing reports, doesn’t like to get into the details of a lot of things, but rather just kind of says, ‘This is what I believe.’ ”

Tillerson said Trump believes he is acting on his instincts rather than relying on facts. But Tillerson seemed to suggest that it resulted in impulsiveness.

“He acts on his instincts; in some respects, that looks like impulsiveness,” Tillerson said. “But it’s not his intent to act on impulse. I think he really is trying to act on his instincts.”

“So often, the president would say, ‘Here’s what I want to do, and here’s how I want to do it,’ ” Tillerson said, according to the Houston Chronicle, “and I would have to say to him, ‘Mr. President, I understand what you want to do, but you can’t do it that way. It violates the law.’ ”

So in short, if I am reading this right, Donald Trump is a non-reading, impulsive asshole, who has to be stopped from repeatedly breaking the law.

Got it.

Speaking of impulsive Trump announced just today that he was replacing Matt Whitaker as Attorney General with William Barr.

Courtesy of the BBC:

President Donald Trump has nominated William Barr to be the new attorney general, a post he held in the 1990s.

By replacing Jeff Sessions, who was fired by Mr. Trump last month, the 68-year-old will take charge of the investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 US election.

US media report he has been critical of some aspects of that inquiry.

Barr was the Attorney General under the George H.W. Bush Administration.

Trump also announced that he was choosing former Fox News blonde Heather Naurt to replace Nikki Haley as the UN Ambassador.

And she seems especially suited to represent the Trump Administration in that capacity based on her knowledge of history.

So does she think that D-Day was just a bunch of allied forces arriving in France to work with the German government?

And of course, the Marshall Plan was just America picking up the 12 billion dollar tab to cover the damage that the German government had done by being so darn clumsy.

Damn, does the air at Fox News kill brain cells?

There are also rumblings (Once again) that John Kelly is on his way out.

Courtesy of CNN:

John Kelly is expected to resign as White House chief of staff in the coming days, two sources familiar with the situation unfolding in the West Wing tell CNN.

Seventeen months in, Kelly and President Donald Trump have reached a stalemate in their relationship and it is no longer seen as tenable by either party. Though Trump asked Kelly over the summer to stay on as chief of staff for two more years, the two have stopped speaking in recent days.

I have no idea if Kelly is really going to leave this time or not, but I imagine that if he does Trump will just drop all pretense and hire Sean Hannity to replace him.

Because at this point does it really even matter anymore?

Update: Holy shit!

Tillerson ran Exxon for almost two decades, that does not sound like a lazy guy to me.

Jesus this Trump is such a fucking child!

The gloves are off! I sure hope Mr. Tillerson publicly confirms that fatso is nothing but, in his words, a “fuckin’ moron”!!
At least Mr. Tillerson was the sane adult in the White House! He also made money for the company he led; they did not go bankrupt 6 times!!

HAH! He only hires the smartest people; what a freaking joke.
The smartest people he ignores and has $arah on speed dial.

He WILL be taken from “our” White House kicking and screaming, and may that day come soon.

I think that the day Trump is booted from office should be a national holiday. People will be dancing and fucking in the streets to celebrate!

Well, I guess that makes both Tillerson and his former boss “dumb” as “rock[s].” Don the Con couldn’t even think of a different insult to hurl at Tillerson. I think that Tillerson lacked the stamina to be secretary of state and he certainly didn’t know anything at all about the State Department but Don the Con is no better at all. Tillerson was probably much better at the oil business; we know that his former boss is only good at conning people.

And now Kelly is going so no adults left to rein in the toddler with the nuclear codes.

““Nothing says ‘you’re guilty’ more than making a counter report before the Mueller report is even out. That means he knows it’s gonna be bad,” Che explained. “It’s like when you’re watching ‘Cops‘ and, as soon as they pull up to the house, there’s a shirtless guy on the lawn saying: ‘Okay now, first off, she’s lyin’’.”

    P.S. Is this working NOW?
