Donald Trump tells White House aides that he might sue if the Democrats try to impeach him.

Wait, what?

President Trump has threatened to take legal action if Democrats try to impeach him, musing that he’ll “sue.” He has peppered confidants and advisers with questions about how an impeachment inquiry might unfold. And he has coined his own cheeky term — “the I-word” — to refer to the legal and political morass that threatens to overshadow his presidency as he heads into his 2020 reelection campaign.

As Democrats struggle with how to handle calls from their liberal flank to impeach the president, Trump himself is eager to avoid such proceedings — while also fixated on his belief that Democrats can’t impeach him because he has done nothing wrong, according to interviews with 15 White House aides, outside advisers, Republican lawmakers and friends, many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to share candid conversations.

The president is intrigued by the notion of impeachment but wary of its practical dangers, one outside adviser said. Trump remembers how Republican impeachment proceedings in the late 1990s against President Bill Clinton seemed to boost Clinton’s approval ratings, and Trump is at his best when battling a perceived foe, several advisers added.

Yet he also views impeachment in deeply personal terms. He is less concerned about the potential historical stain on his legacy — Clinton and Andrew Johnson are the only presidents to have been impeached — and more about what he sees as yet another Democratic attack on the legitimacy of his presidency, according to an outside adviser and a White House aide.

He wants to sue the Democrats for doing their jobs?

Of course, we have to keep in mind that Trump is the most litigious asshole that has ever occupied the White House, and has sued just about everybody over just about everything.

However, this is so ridiculous that I would think it would be all but impossible to find a lawyer willing to take the case.

I mean besides Rudy Giuliani of course, but let’s face it he just needs the work.

Rudi no longer works for trump, got tired of working for free.

Exactly who is he going to sue? LOL The discovery alone will do him in, so sue away you moron.

Besides Clinton was impeached for lying on a personal matter, trump would be impeached because he is a criminal undermining our democracy. Big difference.

This nut case, still thinks he is working in the private sector or is playing apart in a reality tv show (more like a nightmare for the rest of us).

The “I-word”? There are plenty of “I” words for Trump:

    Incompetent. Idiot. Imbecile. Ignoramus. Inept…..

“ABC board rules against Trump — he may lose his liquor license for Trump DC Hotel
The House of Representatives may be refusing to initiate impeachment proceedings to determine if President Donald Trump is fit to be president, but he will soon face proceedings to see if his character is adequate for owning a bar.

At issue is the liquor license for Trump’s infamous Washington, DC hotel.
The renewal of the license was challenged over whether Trump was fit to be owner. The Trump Organization sought to have the complaint dismissed, but the District of Columbia Alcoholic Beverage Control board denied the request.

The board allowed the group contesting the license to protest on the grounds of character, as the law requires the owner to be “of good character and generally fit for the responsibilities of the licensure.””<rawstory

“the Board has consistently held that ‘the mere creation of a corporate entity does not shield the individuals holding an interest in a corporation or limited liability company from having their records as owners scrutinized by the Board.’”

ABRA’s decision is not itself a revocation of Trump International’s liquor license, but it does clear a path for a public showdown between the most heavily Democratic city in the country and Donald Trump, the least popular president in modern history.
