In his first public response to the death of financier and accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, President Donald Trump retweeted baseless conspiracy theories around his death and a news alert citing former President Bill Clinton’s previous involvement with Epstein.

Trump first retweeted a post from @BreakingNLive, “Documents were unsealed yesterday revealing that top Democrats, including Bill Clinton, took private trips to Jeffrey Epstein’s “pedophilia island.”

Trump then retweeted a conspiracy theory from comedian Terrence K. Williams around Epstein’s death that used some of the day’s top trending hashtags on Twitter, such as #EpsteinSuicide, #ClintonBodyCount, #JefferyEpstein, and #TrumpBodyCount.

“Died of SUICIDE on 24/7 SUICIDE WATCH ? Yeah right! How does that happen#JefferyEpstein had information on Bill Clinton & now he’s dead. I see #TrumpBodyCount trending but we know who did this! RT if you’re not Surprised#EpsteinSuicide #ClintonBodyCount #ClintonCrimeFamily,” Williams wrote.

Wait the Clintons did it?

I suppose they also used the same hitman who killed Seth Rich, right?

Give me a break!

If Hillary and Bill did not have Anthony Weiner snuffed they certainly did not bother to take out Epstein.

However, there are some very legitimate concerns about Epstein’s apparent “suicide.”

First there is the fact that he was supposed to be on suicide watch, which either ended prematurely or was conducted rather haphazardly.

The fact that Epstein claimed that his first suicide attempt was actually an attack against him.

The fact that Epstein was supposed to be transferred to the ultrasecure Riker’s Island and instead was redirected to the somewhat less secure New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center.

Then there is this courtesy of Fox News

There’s no way that man could have killed himself. I’ve done too much time in those units. It’s an impossibility.

Between the floor and the ceiling is like eight or nine feet. There’s no way for you to connect to anything.

You have sheets, but they’re paper level, not strong enough. He was 200 pounds — it would never happen.

When you’re on suicide watch, they put you in this white smock, a straight jacket. They know a person cannot be injurious to themselves.

The clothing they give you is a jump-in uniform. Everything is a dark brown color.

Could he have done it from the bed? No sir. There’s a steel frame, but you can’t move it. There’s no light fixture. There’s no bars.

They don’t give you enough in there that could successfully create an instrument of death. You want to write a letter, they give you rubber pens and maybe once a week a piece of paper.

Nothing hard or made of metal.

And there’s a cop at the door about every nine minutes, whether you’re on suicide watch or not.

Look, I am not going to jump to any specific theories about whether Epstein committed suicide or not, or if he was killed who orchestrated his murder, but  I will say that the people with the most to lose and easy access to the tools to take him out are well known to all of us.

And their name is certainly not Clinton.
