Donald Trump plans to go ahead and give his State of the Union address despite government shutdown.

If I were the Secret Service I might say that “We will protect you once we get our damn paychecks.”

President Donald Trump may deliver a State of the Union address Jan. 29 after all, a senior administration official confirmed to NBC News.

But White House speechwriters are also working on drafts that could be used if he chooses a different venue.

Last week, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., sent Trump a letter suggesting that he delay his annual speech or submit it in writing because of a partial government shutdown that is now in its fifth week. She cited security concerns because the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the Secret Service, is one of the agencies affected by the shutdown.

Apparently, Trump has planned for two different speeches depending on circumstances.

President Donald Trump is preparing for two different State of the Union speeches – one a more traditional address delivered to Congress in the House chamber or some other location in D.C., the other prepared for a political rally at a location outside of Washington, D.C. that has yet to be determined, according to multiple sources familiar with the planning.

Sources told ABC News that the president was previously planning two separate versions of the State of the Union – one version if the government was still shut down and another if the government was open.

However, now the planning has evolved, assuming the government shutdown could drag on past next Tuesday – the expected delivery date of the address. If the president decides to deliver a speech in rally form, it would mark the first rally style event the president has attended since the partial shutdown began.

I think making this speech in front of a bunch of red hat wearing dipshits is pretty fucking risky considering the fact that they will not have security to protect them if some federal worker decides to go all Sirhan Sirhan on Trump’s ass during the speech.

People are reaching their breaking point and I would not be at all surprised if there are Secret Service agents who feel their reflexes slowing down every day the government is shut down.

All I know is that if people are determined to watch this speech it might be safer to do so from the safety of their living rooms.

Let me reiterate that I do not suggest that people should take up arms against Trump, nor do I have any information that there are those considering it, I am just saying that presidents have been targeted for much less than what is going on now.

I mean what is he going to say? We have been steadily bombarded with his bs everyday. Naw, except for bragging he wont have anything good or worthwhile hearing. Unless you are on of those that drank the orange koolaid.

Either way it will be all LIES,i am sure he would prefer the rally, with paid supporters to applaud and chant versus the mediocre response from Congress.

Either way I don’t intend to watch his self serving LIE fest, unless they run side by side fact checking.

I will watch the Democratic rebuttal.

DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) – A top Chinese markets regulator voiced confidence on Wednesday that Beijing and Washington would resolve their trade dispute, suggesting market pressure would ultimately push U.S. President Donald Trump into a deal.

Fang Xinghai, vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, made the comment at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland after months of market turmoil caused in part by the dispute’s impact on the global economy.

“I think there will be deal. Trump measures success of his measures by the rise and fall of the Dow Jones average.”

If he starts shouting WHO RUN BARTERTOWN?! WHO RUN BARTERTOWN?! I won’t be in the least surprised.”< Jim Wright

“Union leader J. David Cox invokes Leviticus in a plea to end the shutdown: “You shall pay your hired hand before the day comes to an end.””

At least we don’t have to watch it or listen to it. Don the Con cannot open his mouth without telling a lie. And the lies just get bigger and bigger. There’s no point in listening to him. He is a waste of airspace who has been, unfortunately, enabled by a foreign enemy state and a weak political party that is led by a giant turtle.
