Okay, there has got to be a stronger word than “petty” to describe this guy, don’t you think?

A government photographer edited official pictures of Donald Trump’s inauguration to make the crowd appear bigger following a personal intervention from the president, according to newly released documents.

The photographer cropped out empty space “where the crowd ended” for a new set of pictures requested by Trump on the first morning of his presidency, after he was angered by images showing his audience was smaller than Barack Obama’s in 2009.

The detail was revealed in investigative reports released to the Guardian under the Freedom of Information Act by the inspector general of the US interior department. They shed new light on the first self-inflicted crisis of Trump’s presidency, when his White House falsely claimed he had attracted the biggest ever inauguration audience.

The records detail a scramble within the National Park Service (NPS) on 21 January 2017 after an early-morning phone call between Trump and the acting NPS director, Michael Reynolds. They also state that Sean Spicer, then White House press secretary, called NPS officials repeatedly that day in pursuit of the more flattering photographs.

It was not clear from the records which photographs were edited and whether they were released publicly.

You know just when you think this guy in the White House cannot possibly get any more pathetic, you find out that yes he can, yes he most certainly can.

This guy’s entire career seems to be based on compensating for his shortcomings.

And now he has access to the United States military to bully the planet into respecting him.

Weird this is coming out now, because it already came out right after the inauguration.

And I’m of the thought that the military/Pentagon, while no doubt thrilled at the increase in budget, aren’t going to attack every last thing he wants dead just because he says to. Even IF he is commander-in-chief.
Lord above do I hate that asshole.

“Fox News analyst A.B. Stoddard thinks Trump is going to respond by spiraling even more out of control.
The Real Clear Politics editor went on Shep Smith’s show Thursday to explain how the “impulsive and erratic” Trump is going to react.

“I think this writer believes that they’re trying to calm down the country and assure everybody who is nervous about President Trump’s temperament that all is well,” “What this author has done, though, is sort of encouraged probably more paranoia and more rage on the part of the president. He’s going to do something to change the topic and do something dramatic to get our focus on somebody else.”

“He doesn’t want us talking about this.”

““It’s not his immorality, it’s his temperament. He’s impulsive and erratic. He changes his mind quickly. He lies frequently,” “He doesn’t have the temperament for the hardest job on the planet.”

President Trump addresses NYT op-ed and appears to reference Bob Woodward book ahead of a Montana rally, saying of sources:
“We discredit all of them because it’s lies…It may be a deep state person that’s been there a long time.”

      • Anon September 7, 2018 at 1:15 pm

I listened to Trump declaring he has done a terrific job then that he has “done nothing wrong”. Habitual lying or qualifying as a pathological liar is a “wrong”.
Although I accept that highly manipulative dysfunctional people do not believe there is anything wrong with making up facts, lying about people, places and things to get what they want. Words are merely tools and weapons to those personalities.

  10. Anon September 6, 2018 at 5:40 pm

Trump was not sworn in for 24 hours demanding people lie and falsify evidence on crowd size. It is tragic for our nation that so many have chosen this is acceptable behavior for the leader of the free world.
