Look, the circus just hired two more clowns!

President Donald Trump’s impeachment defense team will include Ken Starr, whose investigation led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton, and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, whose clients have included notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and O.J. Simpson.
Also on the team is ex-Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, CNBC has learned. In addition, Robert Ray, succeeded Starr as independent counsel in the Whitewater investigation of Clinton, is expected to be on the team.
The Trump team choices came to light just four days before his trial is set to begin in earnest in the Senate.
I have to admit that considering the shady folks Trump is putting on the team I am a little surprised that Giuliani did not make the cut.
I mean at this point why not?
Clearly Trump is doing his lawyer shopping by watching Fox News, and cares more about his cable news coverage than he does about building a strong legal case against impeachment.
Which of course he is not so worried about since most of the jurors are in his pocket.
I think my favorite reaction to his news came from Monica Lewinsky.
this is definitely an “are you fucking kidding me?” kinda day.

Update: Because there is always a tweet, here is Trump expressing his opinion of Ken Starr back in 1999.

And here I am in total agreement with 1999 Donald Trump.
Oh, by the way, did I fail to mention that both Ken Starr and Alan Dershowitz were also lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein?
Because they were.
