Fun Fact: Coca-Cola used to contain cocaine.

Courtesy of BNN Bloomberg:

The Coca-Cola Co. is in “serious talks” with Aurora Cannabis Inc. to develop cannabis-infused beverages, a groundbreaking move that would signal a significant foray into the marijuana sector by one of the world’s most iconic consumer brands, multiple sources familiar with the matter told BNN Bloomberg.

The sources said that Coca-Cola, the world’s largest beverage company, is interested in developing beverages that are infused with cannabidiol, commonly referred to as CBD, the non-psychoactive chemical found in marijuana plants.

Unlike other deals between alcohol makers and cannabis producers aimed at making drinks that will give consumers a “buzz” similar to inhaling marijuana, Coca-Cola and Aurora () would likely develop beverages that will ease inflammation, pain and cramping.

So yes Coca-Cola is interested in adding cannabis to their products, but NOT for the purpose of getting customers high.

Instead, they simply want to add the CBD oil in order to help consumers of their product deal with health issues.

By the way, my daughter is a huge advocate of this CBD oil and is constantly trying to get members of our family to use it for all sorts of reasons.

I am just concerned that while I was treating my pain and cramps with daily doses of the soft drink, that I would eventually develop diabetes 2 from all of that corn syrup.

Just a thought.

“People are going to finally find out who is funding our elections and what expect to gain. The missing link has always been the who part of the equation. The dark money has gone in, the attacks have come out, but voters had no idea whose money was driving these elections.

It is a great day for democracy, Democrats, and the voters of the United States of America.”

The CBD oil didn’t help my Dad’s back (he eventually had back surgery) and he said the oral stuff tasted just nasty so maybe this is an option but I really doubtit. Since people dose at such different levels you’re better off buying Coke or whatever is your beverge of choice (you can get it with sugar instead of HFCS) and then just add the dose for you.

I’m looking into bacon flavored CBD oil for my dog, who has osteoarthritis and possibly hip dysplasia.
