CNN collects panel of Republican women from Florida to talk about Kavanaugh accuser. I think troubling is the right word here.

Oh, these are just terrible people.

CNN’s Randi Kaye speaks to Republican women in Florida about Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

“We’re talking about a 15-year-old girl, which I respect. I’m a woman, I respect. But we’re talking about a 17-year-old boy, in high school, testosterone running high. Tell me what boy hasn’t done this in high school. Please, I would like to know,” one woman said.

“I have no sympathy,” Lourdes Castillo de la Pena said. “Perhaps maybe she had that moment she liked him. And maybe he didn’t pay attention to her afterwards and he went out with another girl, she got bigger, whatever the situation is, they’re kids.”

At one point one of these women says “Tell me what boy has not done this in high school.”

Me, I am a boy that did not hold down a fifteen-year-old girl, with my hand over her mouth, and try to rape her.

I was no saint, but for fuck’s sake, this is attempted rape we are talking about here.

It was later revealed that these women were actually GOP operatives who had practiced what they were going to say during the interview, but I don’t know if that makes it somewhat better or worse.

“Most it was based on the football schedule.”-” you could talk to any prep school girl, and they would say, yeah, I was attacked or I was abused or I was touched or I was done in this improper fashion. And like I said, it was a fraternity, but it was also a situation where the girls wouldn’t talk about it later on, either. A lot of these women basically became kept women.”

If these women rehearsed what they said, it makes it worse! Because it means it was planned and not honest thoughts from “normal” women — if any GOP woman can be considered “normal” today. It means they decided what to say and how many of the women would say what/each point. It means that this was not honest opinions from every day women, and it therefore does not represent what GOP women, in general, think about this — at least I hope not. Instead it represents what the GOP operatives wanted said and they just turned Anderson Cooper and his show into THEIR MOUTHPIECE. It is just plain a high jacking of Anderson Cooper. I hope he now knows who they were and how rehearsed they were and calls them back to grill them and show them up for the really low lying scum that they are.

Can’t help but wonder how they would react if their teenage daughters came home with this story of “almost” rape by a teenage boy? Would they be at all supportive or just tell their daughter to get over it, it happens to everyone, boys will be boys, GET OVER IT?

These women just prove that it is not just the old white men of the GOP who are deplorable, but their wives as well. Hillary was CORRECT calling them deplorables.

Makes me want to vomit when I hear men spout this shit, and makes me want to cry when WOMEN excuse this type of thing as just boys being boys.

      I agree completely.

What is wrong with women that we cannot support one another? If the teenaged daughter of one of those women told her mom that a boy had behaved like Kavanaugh likely did and that she had struggled to get away, the mother would want to call the police immediately. Well, if she were a good mother anyway . . . . I do not buy “boys will be boys.” It’s what’s made a lot of girls and young women end up as single mothers with no support from the youthful dads because, after all, “boys will be boys.” Boys need to be taught at a young age that their “boyish” behavior could easily result in the birth of a very dependent human being who will need care and love and nurturing for a lifetime.

Let’s all give up on “boys will be boys.” When teenaged girls end up pregnant, no one says “well, girls will be girls.” Everyone blames them for the next twenty or so years.

Well TWO more women have come forward, I knew it . Saw it on CBC news, so it has made news outside the USA.

One incident happened when he was at Yale, drunk (again) and pushed his genitals in her face !!!

Then Michele Avenati says that he was contacted by a woman that was at the high school party and supposedly can back up the Prof’s version of things !!!!

And of course the republicans found out about the allegations and wanted to push forward the vote, OMG, is he the only conservative judge in the USA or has he promised them something???
…. Senate Democrats are investigating a new allegation of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh. The claim dates to the 1983-84 academic school year, when Kavanaugh was a freshman at Yale University. The offices of at least four Democratic senators have received information about the allegation, and at least two have begun investigating it. Senior Republican staffers also learned of the allegation last week and, in conversations with The New Yorker, expressed concern about its potential impact on Kavanaugh’s nomination. Soon after, Senate Republicans issued renewed calls to accelerate the timing of a committee vote.

…….After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney, Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident.
…… She remembers Kavanaugh standing to her right and laughing, pulling up his pants. “Brett was laughing,” she said. “I can still see his face, and his hips coming forward, like when you pull up your pants.” She recalled another male student shouting about the incident. “Somebody yelled down the hall, ‘Brett Kavanaugh just put his penis in Debbie’s face,’ ” she said. “It was his full name. I don’t think it was just ‘Brett.’ And I remember hearing and being mortified that this was out there.” ……..

Absolutely disgusting, none of them know her and her they are smearing her and making excuses for him.

I have always said, women are their own worst enemies, we don’t stick together. Look how all the men have gathered around to smear the woman and protect little Brett. They stick together.

And the fact that they are all republicans in FL, now why were they chosen? Because they could be told what to say?

  7. Anonymous September 23, 2018 at 7:11 pm

Little donnie’s response to MORE women coming forward is that they should have SMEARED Ford more and sooner. Gee I wonder who is behind the death threats, that wasn’t enough ???

Gee I wonder if the republicans are going to lose by a landslide in NOV, they would if women vote, stick together and remove these disgusting men from office.
