Chris Wallace of Fox News learned that his own daughters had been subjected to sexual harassment/abuse and never told anyone.

Fox News host Chris Wallace said Thursday that two of his daughters revealed in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh that they endured previously undisclosed incidents when they were in high school.

Wallace said his daughters brought up their experiences as the family was discussing the allegations against Kavanaugh over email.

“[They] hadn’t told their parents, I don’t know if they told their friends. Certainly had never reported it to police,” Wallace said on Fox News during coverage of a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Kavanaugh and one of his accusers, Christine Blasey Ford.

Wallace noted that his daughters described events that “weren’t as serious as the allegations against Kavanaugh.”

“But the point is that there are teenage girls who don’t tell stories to a lot of people, and then it comes up, and I don’t think we can disregard that,” Wallace said. “I don’ think we can disregard Christine Blasey Ford and the seriousness of this. I think that would be a big mistake.”

Gee how enlightening for Chris Wallace.

This kind of reminds me how people do not support gay rights until their son comes out of the closet, and then suddenly their opinion changes completely when they realize how prejudice harms those that they love.

I would be willing to bet that there are a whole lot of conservatives who are just now learning that their wives, sisters, and daughters have also been subjected to sexually inappropriate behaviors that they were never told about it.

Maybe, just maybe, that will change a few minds about this nominee, this party, and the man sitting in the White House.

“Mark Judge, a classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, sends a signed letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee explaining why he remained uninvolved during the hearing.”

” Judge’s ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Rasor told the committee she is ready to talk about the alleged incident to the FBI. Rasor was interviewed by the New Yorker last week after Judge denied engaging in “horseplay” at Georgetown Prep.

“I can’t stand by and watch him lie,” she said.

At Friday’s hearing on Kavanaugh, shortly before the committee was set to vote, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) put forward a motion to subpoena Judge to testify so “other facts can be uncovered.” The letter, he said, is “no substitute” for an FBI interview.”

And on Thursday while the hearing was going on, Judge was meeting with his lawyer.

As much as we would like it so, Gryph, face it. There’s men in this country that believe it’s their God given right through scripture to dictate every last thing a woman does.
    The evangelicals found their boy.

Trust me, I am well aware of that.

Sorry, Chris Wallace, when you leave Fox maybe I’ll listen to you.
You are by no means your father.

“They own the consequences. Brett Kavanaugh is their stain. Democrats are making it clear to the nation that Republicans are responsible for what they are witnessing.

Some of the senior Democrats stayed in the hearing because it is essential that the dissenting voices and the voices of sexual assault survivors be in the record of this hearing. If all Democrats had walked out, Republicans could have whitewashed the record. Some Democrats had to be at the hearing, but those Democrats who walked out did the right thing.”

“The Republican strategy is not longer attack the victim. It is IGNORE the victim.”

Let’s not forget “Miss Lindsay” Graham promising that any democratic candidate is now free game to make up salacious lies about.
WTF has happened to this country???

      • Anonymous September 28, 2018 at 2:14 pm

They have been doing that for years, since Karl Rove began his dirty tricks.

I had to laugh when Miss Lindsey got all bent out of shape yelling the republicans have never done this to a democratic appointee…. what short memories… Merrick Garland…. ring a bell, Lindsey.

Oh right they didn’t have a chance to “smear” him because they couldn’t be bother to even interview him for 400 days.

Four Republican governors: Governors Charlie Baker (R-MA), Larry Hogan (R-MD), John Kasich (R-OH), and Phil Scott (R-VT) have each urged a delay.

    The American Bar Association:
“Alan Dershowitz: Harvard Law professor and Trump loyalist wrote a Fox News op/ed on Thursday, urging a delay. “The Senate Judiciary Committee needs to slow down and postpone its vote on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court until the FBI can investigate accusations of sexual misconduct leveled against him by three women,” “The accusers and other witnesses should be questioned by the FBI and then be summoned to testify before the Judiciary Committee. All sides have an interest in a full and thorough examination of these serious charges.”<That is the RIGHT thing to do.

    • DO THE right THING September 28, 2018 at 7:08 am

“Every Judiciary Committee Democrat and the America Magazine, the nation’s leading Jesuit magazine which had previously endorsed his confirmation, have called for his nomination to be withdrawn.”

“Ingraham mocked Ford as “a combination of Rosa Parks, Joan of Act — she was the heroine of all time.” Right-wing commentator Michelle Malkin responded by claiming that Ford’s “traumatic incident” — the assault she says Kavanaugh perpetrated against her — “seared a hole in her brain.”

“Laura Ingraham guest Joe diGenova calls Dr Christine Blasey Ford “a deeply troubled person. She has a history of psychological discord … She went to the West Coast for one reason: She had so many problems in that school that they sent her away. She is a very sad woman”

“Joe diGenova: Christine Blasey Ford “is a very troubled woman. Her testimony had the sound of a teenager — let’s remember, she is in her 50s. She has been an emotional wreck for a number of years, and the testimony today showed that she is a very sad person.”

Newt Gingrich: Christine Blasey Ford “is a psychologist. She ought to understand people often believe things 36 years later that just aren’t true.”

Fox News finds another new low:

“The actual rate of lying about rape or sexual assault is anywhere between 8 percent and 41 percent, and in some precincts in New York City it’s actually 90 percent.”

  7. anon September 28, 2018 at 7:21 am

Among those watching Dr. Ford’s testimony was Judge Kavanaugh, a committee aide said, from a monitor in another room in the Dirksen Senate Building, where he awaits the opportunity to tell his side of the story later today,” The Journal reported.

Lying to Congress is a federal crime.

  8. NO RESPECT GOPee September 28, 2018 at 7:45 am

“As you’re aware, Ms. Ramirez’s counsel have repeatedly requested to speak with the Committee, on a bipartisan basis, to determine how to proceed,” “You refused. I’ve never encountered an instance where the Committee has refused even to speak with an individual or counsel. I am perplexed as to why this is happening here, except that it seems designed to ensure that the Majority can falsely claim that Ms. Ramirez and her lawyers refused to cooperate. That simply is not true.”

Because @realDonaldTrump and the Senate Republicans refuse to allow my client Julie Swetnick to testify, we will be taking her story directly to the American people this weekend. This is about a search for the truth. Details to follow.
    5:01 AM – Sep 28, 2018

Senator Grassley just outright lied to the American people. See the emails I posted yesterday. These men have no shame. They will do anything and say anything to install Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court so he can trample women’s rights. This is an absolute disgrace.
    6:18 AM – Sep 28, 2018

.@realDonaldTrump @LindseyGrahamSC @ChuckGrassley and all of the other GOP misogynists in the US Senate can attack me all they want. I will respond in kind and then some. These old white men still don’t understand that assault victims and women deserve respect and to be heard.

Some guy hit my fender, and I told him, ‘Be fruitful and multiply,’ but not in those words.

“Blumenthal entered a motion to subpoena Judge, which was quickly voted down.

Sen. Chuck Grassley, the committee chairman, repeatedly had to call for order as the commotion in the room interrupted him.

“This is a sham,” Harris said to reporters after walking out. “All we are asking for is that there be an FBI investigation.”

Not only did Kavanaugh show his rapist side but the GOP did too. Nice going guys. Didn’t leave the frat behind I see. Donald is now your’ leader. Have fun with that.
