Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), the youngest member of Congress, will co-host a session to show Democrats how to effectively use social media.

The House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee will host a session on Thursday with Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.), USA Today reported Wednesday.

The session is “on the most effective ways to engage constituents on Twitter and the importance of digital storytelling.” They will be joined by Twitter representatives and the House Administration Committee, according to USA Today.

Actually, AOC taught that class yesterday.

AOC now has 2.42 million Twitter followers which are more than all of the other 63 freshmen Democratic House members combined.

I think this is a smart idea by these House members though I would caution them that social media skills are easier for those raised in the era of social media and that a few lessons will not suddenly transform Luddites into Twitter sensations.

    That’s fine.

But what about her eliminating the electoral college? Or the 2nd ammendment? Or the belief in salvation itself?

Tweet this>”McConnell did not approve of them.

The powerful Republican Senate leader did not offer any explanation from the Senate floor as to why he killed Kaine’s motion. He has, however, been saying for several weeks that he will not bring up in the Senate any House-passed government funding bill unless it’s approved in advance by President Trump.”

“gang expert believe he’s one of about 100 victims of the Smiley-Face Killers, an alleged organized gang of serial killers that communicates on the dark web, with cells in dozens of cities across the United States. An additional 250 cases might be connected, but they can’t prove it,” “James fits the profile of the other suspected victims: smart, athletic, popular, college-age white men who went out drinking and never came home, they say. More recently, some alleged victims have been openly gay, like Dakota. Like him, weeks later, their bodies were discovered in lakes or rivers with smiley-face or other graffiti specifically connected to the group spray-painted nearby. So far they’ve connected about 70 deaths with similar graffiti nearby. About 30 of the men, including Dakota James, had the date-rape drug GHB in their system, according to the autopsy reports. “Dakota was clearly murdered,”

OT-FYI “Trump told then-White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly and then-Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney that he did not want a single dollar going to Puerto Rico, because he thought the island was misusing the money and taking advantage of the government, according to a person with direct knowledge of the discussions who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive internal deliberations.
Instead, he wanted more of the money to go to Texas and Florida, the person said. “POTUS was not consolable about this,””Not one dollar! ”
